Something you tend to overthink when anxious 😰
Hello everyone
Does anyone else overthink the smallest things like ..and then somehow end up feeling anxious about them😭 Like replaying a conversation in your head, worrying that you said something wrong, or thinking about every possible thing that could go wrong.
Sometimes I feel like my brain just doesn't know when to sto💛 but ...
Take care of yourself and tell me how you calm yourself when in this kind of situation 🥺😔
@HelenListens Ahhh, the joys of being an overthinker. 😂 I totally can relate to everything you mentioned. Don't ask me how to turn our brain off because I have no clue. Lol.

@YourCaringConfidant
I understand you and most times I sleep oo to just stop the thinking if is not a good one 😠 🤣
@HelenListens Hey, I love sleeping. 😴 We do what we have to do in order to find temporary ways that work for us. The other day on here I was so full of questions and even upon getting answers, I still had more questions. I didn't know how to turn my brain off so for my sanity I just unfollowed the whole thread. 🤣 Lol.
@YourCaringConfidant
wow that's really hilarious 😂 😆
@HelenListens
That's me. I like to call myself a 'professional overthinker'. What I like to do is tell myself, 'Get up and remember who the heck you are!'. My newest tagline to save myself from drowning in my thoughts.

@trueconfidant123
wow ..I like that too
waking yourself to reality ❤️

I feel for you as my mind is always active...just Yappin at me. Meditation is suppose to be helpful, but I have not been able to achieve any success with it. What does help me, if I am worried, is to write out what is bothering me, in detail. I will also write out a game plan to address the issues. I will add to it each day as I ponder it. That method does help me. At night, I listen to some type of bedtime recording. That helps slow my thoughts down some. I wish you luck on this!
