Tips?
You’ll all probably think I’m crazy but I’m looking for any tips to get through the next week. I have an annual review at work later this week. I’ve been here less than a year and feel like I’ve made thousands of mistakes. I don’t know how it’ll go but in my past job I always rated myself low then my boss gave me a high review. All my coworkers and managers at the previous job judged me based on that. Also I’m afraid to talk to half of the people here. I just don’t talk to them and they seem intimidating to me. Then next week I have a dentist appointment. I’ve always hated going there but I’ve decided to switch dentists and this will be my first time seeing this one. The last one seemed money hungry and trying to convince me I need multiple things. Also the hygienist was rude so there’s another reason I wanted to switch. Tips on how to get through this week?

it happens to us all:
I started the day today thinking I was making stupid mistakes at work ... I fixed some things quickly and managed to finish tasks.... began to feel good and end of day found another mistake. I used to stress them but i just told boss what i did and he said he had done that a few times.... was not a big deal.... the old me would have stressed and wondered how to cover it up if it could not be fixed now i just own up and most things are fixable. face them head on and saves a lit of stress about what if.
In the dental thing it is a fact you are the CUSTOMER and you can stand up and say "no thanks... not in my budget now " or whatever fits. some dentists are really pushy and some are totally cool about what patients want you can keep trading dentists to find someone or speak up I recently had to change as i moved and I just said it up front my choice on what or what I will not do.
