Trying to Relax While Working From Home
Hey all,
I am new here. I have anxiety and I am on medication but there are times, especially at work where my anxiety spikes. I can kind of guess why it spikes (i.e. what is troubling me at that moment) but it still sucks. I work from home at the computer and I'm doing very repetitive tasks. Any advice on how to help my body and mind slow down?
Thanks!

It is one of the downsides i felt when i did work from home. Maybe the reason i disliked remote work.
It is hard to compartmentalize your life when your office may be in plain view ... similar when i am at work in an office i do not think about the minor things that are waiting to to be done at home. do you have co-workers you can vent with on call teams type thing that can help knowing others have same issues or frustrations.
Hello @TabigailNeko
My name is Gia and I am an active listener on 7 Cups. Anxiety is a very tough emotion to deal with and it sounds like it is stress-related to the work task you are actively dealing with. I used to work hybrid from home at an admin job so I understand how it can sometimes be tough to separate your workspace from your home space, as you are always in your house. In addition, I can understand how repetitive tasks can be frustrating and sometimes annoying. You seem to be trying to deal with your anxiety via medication. Please feel free to message me whenever you are available. I would love to find a time for our schedules to chat. I hope everything improves. Best, Gia
