They
When I was about 11 something happened in my life that caused me to have a non stop panic attack for months. After that I started having them here and there mostly at night preventing me from sleeping.
It then got to a point where they stopped.
Recently though they have started up again but have only gotten worse to the point where they are starting to interfere with my life. Theyve been happening during the day and the signs have gotten worse. Im started to feel dizzy or lightheaded and like everything is closing in on me.
I can get by and pretend to be fine when Im around others but on the inside Im absolutely terrified. Luckily they only seem to last about 30 mins (the physical feelings at least). But the terror of it happening again takes hours to go away. The last time took two days.
Im starting to think I may need to see a doctor and maybe a professional therapist as I dont know what to do anymore.
I almost miss my old panic attacks at this point.

Oh wow, Im really sorry to hear that :( ❤️ Panic attacks can be quite frightening, and the fear of it coming back can definitely be an added factor. It might be good to know some coping mechanisms for when you notice the symptoms or during the panic attack episode, and theres quite a few resources on here about it! Heres (<— click me!) the self-help guide in case youre interested.
Going to your doctor and a therapist to talk about whats been happening sounds like it could be beneficial, especially as theyre starting to interfere with your daily functioning. The doctor and therapist might be able to give you more resources and helpful tools to help you try to manage it and control it as best as you can.
I wish you all the best on your journey! Take good care of yourself ❤️
