I suffer from GAD and panic disorder. I have panic attacks more often than I wish, some small and other really really bad. I've been to the hospital countless times along with visiting my doctor for what I think is "life threatening" and never find anything. I have experienced chest pain/tightness, shortness of breath, dizzy, headaches, choking sensation that lasts a while, thought of swollen throat, trouble swollwing, numbness, stomach pain, etc. just courious on what everyone goes through. I felt like such a "weirdo" for a long time and thought I was just nuts until finding this app and reading that I'm not alone in this type of attacks.

My panic attacks often last an hour or more and I can't move usually. Shakiness, hyperventilating, crying, scratching, and so on. It's hard to break out of them so I usually try to take a warm shower then get to bed when I feel that way or afterwards.

Start with the million thoughts in my head, can't sleep, but am exhausted . . .

or when I fall asleep, I have slept so hard I wet the bed, or I wake up with what feel like 1000 pounds on my chest, sometimes I cannot move. I cannot think. It's hard to breath. I feel like my heart wants to come out of chest. I wake up in a cold sweat. I get body aches and cramps. I have stomach issues.

My panic attacks are very physical. Often my heart will start to pound and skip beats, I struggle to breathe, my hands shake, and I dissociate so bad I feel like I

My first panic attack was close to a year ago. I was sitting in bed watching TV. Then felt this very odd cold tingling sensation in my legs that travelled up my body. I walked out to the living room and I tried to tell my mom something felt wrong and then I broke down. I was cold, felt like things were crawling under my skin, I couldn't breathe, my heart was pounding, I was hot and cold, and I couldn't talk. My mom sat me down and I rocked back and forth and couldn't stop. I kept thinking something was wrong. The entire world was wrong. She ended up calling 911 and EMS took me to the hospital. The whole thing lasted about three hours. Since then I've been to my doctor who prescribed me something to take when I feel one coming on. I can usually tell when I'm about to have one. Its a physical sensation I get or I realize there's something wrong in my head. The meds don't stop the attack. But it usually helps to lessen the severity of it or helps it get over with quicker then normal. I get them when I'm very overwhelmed or otherwise it's random. I'm constantly scared. I've had them at work and while driving. Its scary. Very scary.

I had sudden onset of panic attacks that lead to a deep dark hole of anxiety in the last 3 weeks. Ive had panic attacks 6 years ago after I had my last baby, but none till now. This time around was extremely scary and debilitating. I couldnt control my thoughts, my body or emotions. I was scared to go anywhere or drive. This was no me! Ive never had anxiety except for the normal stress of life. Went to the doctor and she wanted to prescribe me an anti depressants, but Im against it. Spent the next week trying out natural thing like GABA, 5-htp, cbd oil, meditation, binaural beats.. anything! Went to work on week 2 and broke down and cried most days (I never cry! Let alone cry at work in front of everyone!) I was still feeling the extreme anxiety of everything in my life and work at this point and still had some panic attacks (rapid heart, feeling closed in, numbness on hands, feet, head, chest tightness and even my heart felt like it hurt all the time. It wasnt until my friend suggested Traditional Chinese Herbs. This saved my life! It save me and have me back myself! They calmed my soul and my body to the point of healing and getting back to my original self. Its been 1 week since Ive been on the herbs and Im 85% back to normal (the rest I have to train myself back to being me). It was the scariest time of my life and I never thought I would be me again! Im starting acupuncture next to week help be fully heal again. I urge everyone to find

I have anxiety attacks and the palpitations are the worst. I have numbness in my legs and arms and tingling in my feets. I find hard to breath. The shaking on my body can be slight other times worse.

I had the worst panic attack a few weeks ago that woke me out of my sleep... pounding heart, hot flashes, shaking... thank God for clonazepam. Most of the time my anxiety manifests itself as loss of appetite/nausea and more recently shortness of breath and chest tightness. All of these symptoms then trigger my depression... not fun.

My more intense ones get me short of breath/breathing lots, higher heart rate, adrenaline I suppose...I feel like I'm much stronger and have lots of energy to work off. I get a few tics and other things too and really can't concentrate. Luckily, mine hasn't lasted more than a night (working myself down from them I guess), but it's always scary/intense when it does happen - that fear/anger that just starts me physically like that.
