Conquering Worry: The end, but is it really the end?
Hi everyone!
I hope you're doing well. Over the past few weeks, we've explored various strategies from How to Stop Worrying and Start Living by Dale Carnegie. Throughout this series, I’ve highlighted exercises that are broadly applicable, along with additional insights to support our goal of managing worry more effectively.
While we haven’t covered everything from the book, this series serves as a solid introduction to the depth of strategies available. I highly encourage you to get the book, take it day by day, and revisit it whenever worry starts creeping in. Remember, neither this series nor the book is a one-time solution, what truly matters is consistent application. Reading or discussing strategies alone won’t help unless you actively apply them. Please don’t skip exercises, in fact, if you can, go beyond the minimum!
A quote that is applicable here is: There is a cure for addiction, but it works only one day at a time. The same applies to worry. You don’t conquer it in one grand effort, it’s a daily commitment. Managing worry is a practice, not a single event, and every day you choose to apply these strategies, you take a step toward freedom.
With our series coming to an end, now is the time to complete any remaining activities and submit your final two forms to earn your certificate before the deadline.
To reinforce the importance of application and accountability, I’ve created a Workshop Activity Check Report. Here’s the order you should follow:
Follow all the steps in this order!
Take this as an opportunity to solidify your learning and truly make progress in managing worry, one day at a time. I hope the series benefitted you and I hope these strategies will help you in the long run.
Note: The deadline to submit everything is April 6. However, one post requires 7 days of application before the activity is considered complete. If you plan to finish everything on time, make sure to start at least 7 days in advance but you likely need more time.
The series will be available afterwards, but you will not get the certificate of completion.
Thank you for following the series!

@YourCaringConfidantAww thank you! :) Way to go to you too! <3
@Hope thank you for all the hard work on this series, I really enjoyed it.
I'm currently on day 2 of 7 for the Cultivating Gratitude section, but I've completed every other part of the workshop. I appreciate how insightful and helpful a lot of this has been for reflecting on worries and being able to let them go when not actively working towards a solution. Thank you for putting this course together, and I look forward to seeing the impact as I integrate parts of it into my daily life. 💜
@shadowpaw93 I've just completed and submitted everything. Thank you for this opportunity.
