Anxiety/PCOS/Mental Abuse
Hello, I have loads on my platter. My brain stays 10000mph everyday, which of course makes my anxiety x10. I was diagnosed with anxiety in 2019, but the meds my Dr gave me, gave me a deja vù feeling, so I've not been on any meds for it. But on top of everything else, I've been fighting against PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) for the last 5 years, I have trash insurance and not a single Dr around me has a clue on what they're dealing with or I'm young and I'm already a mom, so it doesn't matter. I've gone nearly 300 days without a period, so it's been a blast. I am a mother to a toddler and he's very bust and rambunctious. But I am also in a relationship with a man that's 11 years older than I am, he's had a rough story too and was diagnosed with anxiety this last year. But all of the weight of our relationship is laid upon my shoulders. Im not allowed to go to work, if I bring it up, I'm belittled because I've had a hard time keeping a job in the past, which we met when I was 19... I'm 25 now... But if I go anywhere without him he has to call me and just sit on the phone and listen and observe my background. If we fight and I try to leave he corners me or he follows me everywhere I go. I'm made out to be a bad mom all of the time. He's not his biological father, but he's cared for.him as he is... My life's messy and I made it messy, unintentionally in some parts, but very messy. My needs and wants are less than his and money is consistently thrown in my face and the fact that he has a job is thrown in my face. But yeah this is the start of what I'll share..

Hey, I am sorry you have to deal with this on a daily basis. And it's indeed very brave of you to still stand at the face of adversities. For someone who has been through a similar experience, I completely understand your problem.
I would recommend you something that has helped me. When I was going through my anxiety phase, it was difficult to get sleep or feel hope in life, I went for a therapy called the 'Reiki therapy' at Psych Associates of Maryland. It's a natural process of solving anxiety issues and boosting energy. So, there aren't going to be any side effects.
I am not an expert so I can only tell you ways that have helped me.
I hope this helps. All the best
@foreverstrong14 hello

@foreverstrong14 I have a somewhat similar relationship with my father so I understand your pains. It's very difficult not being allowed to be your own person and then having it used against you, it's rather debilitating. Surely doesn't help with the anxiety. ANd i'm sure you're not a bad mom, just doing your best in a bad situation and unsupportive environment. I'm sorry you are going through so much and i hope you get the help that you deserve <3
@foreverstrong14 hello! I'm sorry to hear about your recent experiences with finding a doctor to help manage anxiety and getting your period checked out. I know how frustrating that can be, as I am in the same situation. Tell me, what coping mechanisms have you tried using to help with anxiety?
Being a mom can be a handful it causes stress, and everything you are feeling is valid. You have a right to feel that way. Can you tell me more about what situations stress you out with being a mom?

My anxiety is in full swing and it seems like everyday it just gets worse and worse. I feel like my brain never shuts off or is able to relax. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder accompanied with depression, anxiety, and ptsd. Literally typing my conditions just make me feel worse about myself on top of everything else.
