Anxiety/PCOS/Mental Abuse
Hello, I have loads on my platter. My brain stays 10000mph everyday, which of course makes my anxiety x10. I was diagnosed with anxiety in 2019, but the meds my Dr gave me, gave me a deja vù feeling, so I've not been on any meds for it. But on top of everything else, I've been fighting against PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) for the last 5 years, I have trash insurance and not a single Dr around me has a clue on what they're dealing with or I'm young and I'm already a mom, so it doesn't matter. I've gone nearly 300 days without a period, so it's been a blast. I am a mother to a toddler and he's very bust and rambunctious. But I am also in a relationship with a man that's 11 years older than I am, he's had a rough story too and was diagnosed with anxiety this last year. But all of the weight of our relationship is laid upon my shoulders. Im not allowed to go to work, if I bring it up, I'm belittled because I've had a hard time keeping a job in the past, which we met when I was 19... I'm 25 now... But if I go anywhere without him he has to call me and just sit on the phone and listen and observe my background. If we fight and I try to leave he corners me or he follows me everywhere I go. I'm made out to be a bad mom all of the time. He's not his biological father, but he's cared for.him as he is... My life's messy and I made it messy, unintentionally in some parts, but very messy. My needs and wants are less than his and money is consistently thrown in my face and the fact that he has a job is thrown in my face. But yeah this is the start of what I'll share..

May I ask you some questions?
Do you feel bad when people don't accept or welcome your words? When people disagree with you? When people criticise you?
Do you want to do everything instead of asking for help?
Can you say No to people?
@foreverstrong14

You've been going through so much and it's amazing that you're still here and ready to seek out moral support from others. <3 We're always here for help with moral support, and it seems like your doctor can help with pcos. You can always ask your doctor for any referrals related to mental health too.
@foreverstrong14 there for you
Hey foreverstrong14 you are very couragious for taking this step and being being so vulnarable.. you are really going throoug a lot ...I hope you will be able to manage your situation better and we are here to listen to you whenever possible.

@foreverstrong14 Oh that's a lot to be dealing with on your own. I'm sorry that you've been made to feel that way in your relationship and in your medical needs. It all sounds like it would be very hard to deal with how invalidating it's been and how lonely that might make you feel. I want you to know that you're not alone, that you do have worth, and I think you're incredible for even finding the strength to get through the day given all the struggles you're currently having. I hope you find some freedom to be yourself, even in little ways, and that someday you're appreciated for all that weight you bear.
@foreverstrong14 I am sorry that you have to go through all this. it must have been tough to talk about it. Thank you for sharing this. since you mentioned that the med your doctor gave you for anxiety gave you a deja vu, I was wondering if there was a chance that you could meet a different doctor or perhaps a therapist who could help you differently. I really wish things will get better for you.
I had a really bad first marriage, he was very controlling and that sounds like what your boyfriend is doing. I would suggest going ahead and getting a job, then leaving. I know that's easier said than done, it took me a long time to leave my first husband. I hope you can get any help you need getting out of this situation. I'm new here so I don't know if there's a way to message individuals, but if there is, you can feel free to message me.
@foreverstrong14 Thank you so much for sharing, It takes a lot of courage to be vulnerable.
