Anxiety and Roommates
I have a lot of struggles overthinking about what other people think of me, and moving out to college with roommates has amplified that fear. I dont know if other people deal with this or nit so i wanted to see if people do and if they do how to handle it. I lived with the same girls last year and i felt like i was drowning because theyre all so much more active in clubs and activities, theyre extroverted, theyre unique individuals, and everyone loves them. We all became friends and we have the samr friend group, and half the time i feel relaxed and okay but then i get anxious when mu roommates are invited places and im forgotten, when people come to them with problems and not me, or when my roommates make decisions about me. It makes me feel like im trapped and being attacked or hurt even though rationally it isn't true. I was at my boyfriend's this weekend and started crying this afternoon saying i didnt want to go back to my dorm room. He thinks i hate my roommates now, and sometimes i do, but not with good reason. Im just so scared im the odd one out, im not doing enough, im ignored, all those things you should stop worrying about in middle school. I overthink it and spill it out when it gets to be too much and i dont know what to do

If spilling it out helps, then spill more!
It's great that you are challenging the rationality of your feelings. But for some reason you are having these feelings and it's important to honour them too, I think.
It also seems to me that some people are just more sensitive to the world, and need more time alone.
We're all unique.

reach out to me if you want to talk more about this. I had the exact same fears especially in highschool. I’m trying to prevent them from taking over in my life at college.
Although this is from three years ago, I wanted to say now as a college student I have the same fear and things happen to me. I'm socially awkward and can't open up myself to people as much, so I end up not going out with people or talk more with my friends. If you are still going through the same, I wanted to let you know that you are not alone and hopefully we'll get through this together!
