Anxiety causing tension

Looking for some help smiley

My anxiety is quite severe at the moment, ever since this lockdown began. I am on edge most days, which is difficult whilst looking after an 8 month old baby. Every night I end up with a tension headache and my front teeth ache from clenching my teeth subconsciously all day. I'm even clenching my teeth at night, which has resulted in cuts all over my tongue from pressing on that too. Has anyone else experienced any similar symptoms? If so, how have you managed these, or even better, overcome them all together?

I know that being in constantly has not helped my situation and I'm sure that once restrictions are eased, and things go back to as normal as possible, I'll feel better.

Thanks

Hey Bexhan,

Thanks for writing and taking the time to post on the forum it took a lot of courage to do that.

Im glad you also reached out as I know that during lockdown it can make anxiety harder than it already is. Sounds like you have a lot on your shoulders looking after your 8 month old baby. I can imagine how all of that at the end of the day would have you with a headache and clenching your teeth.

I hope that others have experienced the symptoms so you can share experiences and talk more about it.

Yes I can imagine having to stay in lockdown would give you more time to think about things even feel stressed about things.

If you feel like talking more about it feel free to send me a message.

Moni
