Covid anxiety

So I began to have a headache 3 days ago on Sunday afternoon which was quite mild. But yesterday I realised it was just on the right side of my head, and ibuprofen lessesned the pain. Today I woke up with the same right side headache and had it throughout the day even now.

This is just worrying me because my friend who I sit next to in some lessons and also who is in my friend group who I hang out with every break/lunch tested positive for covid this morning, but was in school yesterday with a sore throat so might’ve had it last week too. I tested in case a few hours ago and idk why but I felt like I saw a line on t, but I asked my mum and she said there is clearly no line and it is definitely negative. I really don’t know if the ‘line’ I saw was legitimate or just due to anxiety etc as a few weeks back I thought I had covid as well and saw this line when I looked rlly close under my desk lamp but it wasn’t visible under normal lighting even when I looked close. (It was negative that time in the end it was a cold)

I want to do another test tomorrow but we have none left and my mum doesn’t want to buy more because she thinks they give me no reassurance. Also I worry because o used a test from tescos and I looked at the reviews and apparently they give false negatives.

Another thing is that this is not the first time of me worrying so much abt covid and passing to vulnerable people etc, so obviously I’ve discussed with my mum who is great and did try giving advice and help. But I’ve done it so many times now she is getting really overwhelmed and stressed and I hate the fact that im putting her through all this as I can see she is struggling in her own life too. I just dk what to do with it, I just wish i could do a test again tomorrow but that’s kinda impossible at this position. I’m really scared that I’ll pass something on to others.
