Feeling anxious/nauseous around my girlfriend

Sorry, I wasn't sure where to post this.

Hey everyone,

I've been with my girlfriend for 6 months. For the last month or two, whenever she is around or we go out together, I feel quite nauseous/feel sick. I'm not ill and haven't been for a while but I'm getting quite frustrated having this feeling as I want to spend loads of time with her but at times, I can't because I feel quite lethargic.

We haven't had sex yet and I'm wondering if it could possibly be nerves about doing it for the first time as I've never waited this long but I've had girlfriends before and never had this sort of thing but then again, this is my longest relationship.

I'm not really an emotional person and I trust her implicitly so I'm not worried about anything like that. In-fact, I would say I'm actually a very laid back person about relationships.

Has anyone else ever had this feeling before or do you know what the cause of this could be?

Thanks

@JKM99 - I can't say I know exactly what's going on, but it sounds like you've already been doing some great thinking about where the anxiety might be coming from.

Some other questions to ask yourself that might help you understand better:

- When did you start feeling this way around her?

- Are there times that you feel more or less anxious?

- Are there places that you feel more or less anxious?

- Has this ever happened with other people, or just with her?

- Would it help to talk to her about it? Or would that be worse?

Good luck, and if you ever need to chat, feel free to PM me or any other listener!
