Lately I've been having a lot of anxiety. Specially at night. It all started about a couple months ago. I used to smoke weed like A LOT. & I had a bad experience. I was tripping bad and I was laying in bed with my husband and then suddlenly I felt a pressure in my chest and I felt like I was passing out. I legit felt like I was having a heart attacked I scared my husband bad and the look on his face at the moment still is drilled into my head. Ever since that day I've had health anxiety. Constantly getting anxious about everything I feel in my body.

it's getting harder for my to sleep in our bedroom because I have this constant fear that when I'm going to bed and closing my eyes I won't wake up. So I constantly keep waking up every 15 min to make sure that I am still alive. I eventually do knock out and don't wake up anymore. But I hate feeling this way.

ive also had a hard time with trying to be in the moment. Sometimes I feel like I'm in alternant reality and that all of this is a dream.

@quietBranch3145 , Hope you are feeling better now. Too much of anything , sometimes can cause lots of side effects. Hope you seek a doctor for a medical checkup. This might help to reduce your anxiety.

@quietBranch3145 I had a really bad reaction to an antidepressant, which was the start of my anxiety. I never really had it at the levels before the reaction. But it is starting to get a little better, small steps. I was similar to you when it came to the original timing. My bad reaction to the antidepressant first hit when I tried to go to bed one night. I felt like if I slept, I'd stop breathing, so I didn't want to go to sleep. It's a horrible feeling to have, and I am right there with you. I called my doctor, it was a Saturday morning, but she said it was okay, and she said to stop the meds right away. But then the anxiety began, and I am still fighting it. But with the support of my doctor and everybody at places like here, I'm learning that I am not alone in this. There are people right there with you (here at 7cups), and it's comforting to know I can lean on people here.
