I feel like I have no control in my life.
(I am young enough that I must still live with my parents)
My dad is moving back home after being in another state for four years. My mom wants to move to the mountains before Chrismas. I want to join Cheer. And have a normal life. With a normal family. I want to stay in the same high school that I am in now, and I want to go back to physical school in a couple of months. I want my parents to get along. I want them to not drink. I want them to be in therapy and take meds when they need to. I want them to not go off and try to kill themselves. I want to be happy and not have to worry about how my mom is spending the down payment on a house on attorneys against my dad. I want to not hear her in the living room talking about how the attorney has to be aggressive. I want all of my homework to get done because I'm not worrying about what my life is going to look like. I have no idea where I am going to be living, where I am going to go to school, who I am living with, whether or not I have time to be writing this or if I should be trying to get my homework done. i don't know if I am going to talk to a judge in the next months. I don't know what I am going to tell that judge. I don't know what I even want in my life anymore. Well, I know one thing. I want to join Cheer.
(Yes this is real, it just so happens that Im a pretty good writer and that last sentence fit perfectly.)
@creativeCranberry2067 It sounds like you got alot on your mind. I also worry so much about things I cannot control. My wife talks to me about it all the time. I had a leak in my roof, and thd first guy did a horrible job, so I have to get it redone. I got temporary measures in place, a guy coming in a few days, but I still let it make me worry so much. It's not a good feeling, but it comea and goes. I just try to remember what I was doing when the worry and anxiety momentarily went away.
@creativeCranberry2067 I know what you are going through. I had a lot of difficulties in high school as well.
I'm glad you can reach out for support where you need to.
I think it's important to draw strength from yourself. Try not to focus on the outside world. You are a tough, strong, independent person. Try to let that guide you and lead you on!
