My family doesn't support me

I was a very smart child and my parents, family and friends were expecting me to go to university and get some successful job.. I ended up leaving my country right after high school because I fell in love and I started working here, in Portugal. I kind of started dreaming of a different life than everyone expected me to have. I want to start a family and live in Portugal. I like my job and I don't feel like I need more.. but the pressure from my family and friends make me feel like I failed in life and I'm worthless. They constantly remind me that I have made a mistake and I shouldn't have moved here even tho I'm really happy where I am. I feel constantly judged and that I have failed in life. I don't know what to do with my feelings.

I'm obviously not confident at all and It's really hard for me to believe in myself when I get no support from anyone.

@willingFig5196 seams really hard on you that your family does not support you. Sometimes outside expectations of others can be difficult for us. I believe you have your partner support. Maybe you can write a journal writing your worries aspirations and how your feelings, sometimes if other people do you harm by how they pressure you is good to take distance from them.

Hello Willing,

It can be very hard when others put expectations on us. But we need to do what makes us happy for we are the ones living our life. I know you don’t want to disappoint your family but you need to make sure you are happy and hopefully they will see that you are living a life you dream of.
