One thing I always get nervous about is.....
I get nervous about my swim meets.
Public speaking - and that's coming from someone who has done a fair bit of (community theatre and TV/film background) acting and (amateur) standup comedy!! 🎤🎬🎭😬😬
Talking to women. I didn't used to get nervous about it but after some unpleasant experiences I get worried and anxious.
Expressing how I feel
Meeting new people.
Having to go anywhere new or on my own I get physically sick
sounding as anxious as I am :S. I know I'm struggling, but I really don't want others to know!
Advocating for myself. I always get scared that people won't think I'm worth the effort. :(

This is always hard to do. What I have begun to do each day is find just ONE thing I do well or like about me. OMG i never thought it would be so difficult but each day it gets easier. I realized it took as much energy to say something positive as it does to say something negative so if each day i at least come up with ONE thing that turns into a habit and then I can add two things and before I know it maybe i have more positives than negatives? Im working on it. Maybe you can too.
Leaving my house.
Talking to anyone about my problems. I've been with my fiancee for a year in 3 days and I still can't talk to him...☹☹
@warmheartedWest1336 why is that? Are you scared of talking to him?
@wishfulLove95
I've always had a hard tome talking to people. The 2 men I let in and actually talked to destroyed me. I'm trying to piece myself back together still. I'm a work in progress.
@warmheartedWest1336 then don't beat yourself up about it. It's a gradual process does your fiancé understand what you're going through?
@wishfulLove95
He understands and he's patient with me. He knows how hard it is for me.
@warmheartedWest1336
We are ALL works in progress. I have to combat this every day and appreciate your past situation. Its so hard when you trust and then that trust gets totally violatd. The thing is its okay to protect yourself and your heart. Someone who loves you will understand and be patient and not feel bothered becasue their focus is that you feel whole. SO don't feel guilty for portecting your heart. Maybe start with something simple and not hard and heavy. Maybe a fond memory from your childhood...the idea is to just share.... you don't always have to share dark secrets ...good secrets are good too. :)
Work up from there .... the idea is to bond through communication.
@SpecialBlanket3286
He is great, he's very patient with me. If I start crying, he holds me and let's me cry. He wants to help me, but I don't know what to tell him.
@warmheartedWest1336 I struggle with this as well. I have been with my fiancé 4 years and still can't tell him when something is bothering me!
