One way my fear holds me back is.....
I fear not being able to gain independence and fear of failing.
@Lukazayd Uff I feel you.
@Totheskyandbeyond I hope we can overcome this 🙌
@Lukazayd I have faith. We will get through this
Fear of being rejected by women when I make advancements on them. Fear of scaring women away, fear of acting like a stalker. Fear of collapsing at work. Fear of being unable to perform my job duties. Fear of getting fired. Fear of losing friends.
I'm afraid I will do a bad choice that's why I choose not to do anything. So stupid. :((((
Just the moment that i cant push myself to talk about it
Not being able to stand up for myself and express my own opinions
@cuddlyWings97 Yeah I know what you mean. I seldom say something and stand up for myself to avoid being rude and to avoid conflict.
Not being able to speak up or voice my opinions. This is something I have struggled with for a long time, sometimes even close friends will have trouble hearing me.
I'm so afraid of being a failure that I don't step out and do what I want
Fear has held me back for so many years from doing so many things I want to do in life. Everything from trying that new food place to going travelling to going for the girl that I like. Fear is the crutch of my existence and it's what keeps me from being the man that I feel like I can be.
That being said, I wake up every day and fight those fears and do the best I can. If I really let my fears take control of me, then I wouldn't get out of bed in the morning. I'd be too afraid to do anything. But I find a way, day after day, to conquer my fears as best as I can. Being brave doesn't mean having no fear, it means being able to face your fears and face them consistently. I've never met someone with more fear that me, but I get up and face them every day, because if I didn't, then I'd never get out of bed.
Whatever your fear is, face it. Giving into your fear is much worse than the outcome of what you're afraid of.
@BeingOfService thank you for sharing! I feel a deep answer in myself. Somehow, your words makes me feel more confident in my own bright and happy future :)
@PennyUA My pleasure! I'm glad I helped you feel more confident in yourself! My main reason for being on this site is to help other people feel better. This post makes me feel really good, so thank you.
I procrastinate because I'm afraid to do things in a wrong way, not good enough and to see real miserable myself through this. Normal ppl having everything done perfectly, aren't they :))))) Mistakes and flaws are unacceptable. :((((
I am afraid sometimes of taking risks, which only leaves me hindered at the end of the day.
