frustrating.

1) nobody i try to explain it to get it, which annoys me

2) i have a deathly fear of panic attacks and it's always a guessing game of what'll trigger it

3) every technique i try doesn't work. deep breathing, counting bodily senses, etc.

@akweyah

this is a strange suggestion, but have you ever tried forcing yourself to read (if thats an option?).. I usually get my worst anxiety on the subway and I started carrying a book with me so when I feel super anxious or a panic attack coming on, I force myself to read. Focusing on reading or rereading even the same few sentences momentarily takes your mind off freaking out. The harder you force yourself to focus on the book takes away from your brain wandering off in a million directions. Hopefully this helps.

@SGA

That sounds like a great idea for a distraction.
