Panic and Anxiety

Okay, so three days ago I was on day three of extreme anxiety and panic attacks anytime I was alone. This, I chalked up, was due to stress and my inability to master material for classes. The term is ending Tuesday, so I wasn't surprised. But my problem isn't mainly the anxiety, but what I've been like after that. Two days ago I was irritable and couldn't laugh or smile without tearing up. Yesterday and today I'm just empty. I can't motivate myself and I'm not caring. I have more assignments that mean more to my grade now than I did before, yet I cannot get myself to do anything. I haven't cried, I haven't had a panic attack, I haven't felt anxious at all. I haven't felt anything. I know this is not normal, so what should I do? How can I fix this? What might be causing this?

Well, caring about things is a part of what makes anxiety possible, so I guess not caring about things is the only way your brain could stop the panic. That's just my guess anyway, I'm not an expert.

@Phthalo Thanks for responding, and it's a good observation. I don't know how to find the perfect balance between caring and not caring
