Sleeping problems
So, I've had like an extreme break out every since last week, its been extremely hard to sleep (sleep in general - but like staying asleep is the main problem), I have anxiety feelings throughout the day. Last night I fell asleep at 4 am and woke up at 6 due to the feeling. I will go to bed and toss and turn until I fall asleep, I also realized the only time I can sleep decent is if I sleep at like 8 pm (and thats rarely)
Anyways I don;t know the origin of the stress but like something came up last week and it like it literally just trigged everything.
I dont like feeling constant stress and anxiety throughout the day. Especially when my mind just wonders and yeah.. it sucks.
What do you guys reccommend? What are some good ways to just relax and destress and maybe sleep properly.
I went to some local walk in clinic to ask but he told me he can't help and to see my family doctor which I cannot until a month.. which just make this worse for me. I have skipped work many times within the month because I'll wake up and feel extremely tired and I dont even want to get out of bed.
I feel like not being able to sleep properly is making my anxiety worse.
I need some advice and idk some strategies to at least attempt a goods night sleep.
@letusee
Hellow! Yeah, I'm very late, I know, but I hope that you're well now!
I'm sorry to hear that you're going through a lot of things :'( I understand how it feels to not sleep well, it's really tiring and bad sleep equals to more anxiety *sighs*
There is a lot of coping techniques that helps me go to sleep:
The 4-7-8 breathing technique (Clicky here)
I tire myself (physically) out before going to bed
Avoid spending time on bed unless you want to sleep
Avoid screens, such as Tv, smartphone, laptop, PC because they keep me awake.
Relax yourself before going to bed (Reading a book, meditating, some stretches, etc)
If you still feel agitated/anxious, get out of bed and try to relax.
I don't know if this is helpful for you, but it is for me.
