ughh my brain
Hi y'all,
my brain won't switch off and I keep overthinking that my friend is mad at me for some reason, and I'm 90% sure they're not. And my other friend gives me alot of anxiety cuz of their antics (they leave me out of stuff, criticise my "fashion" sense and my face in pics, and they constantly 'stick' to my other friend, and it makes me kinda jealous). Eveytime I think of friend no. 2, I feel sick and I wish I never knew them. What do I do? (Sorry if it's long) :)

Hi there! Here's the big issue: You think that the #2 friend is actually your friend. This person is not your friend. No one who criticizes you, puts you down and excludes you is your friend. You don't need that kind of a person in your life.
@thoughtfulmomma
i get you... but i'm freaking out bcuz they have changed all so suddenly, and u know that feeling if you say smting they might take it the wrong way?
@emm204
People change - we're all constantly changing. And on this life path, we gain friends and we lose friends. Sometimes because we need to lose them. Sometimes because life just takes us in opposite directions. Sometimes due to poor choices.
It takes courage and a lot of learning to be able to speak your mind and be okay with it, whatever the consequences are. And with friends, you should be able to say how you feel without fear of some kind of retaliation.

I get exactly where you're coming from. I overthink everything I say and do all the time. I feel like my friends can always rely on me but I cant rely on them. I feel like if I tried to talk to them about my problems they would judge me or not take it seriously. I don't really have any advice for you but just know you aren't alone. Xx

im relieved that im not the only one who is going thru this...
you give me strength that i can get thru this
@emm204
I'm relatively new to 7 cups and to be honest what had astounded me is how many people are going through the same things as I am. It's so good to know that there are other people to support you. Xx
