@reliableLemon227 I'm sorry. It doesn't matter whether there are 7 billion people or only one, it hurts to feel alone. Especially when we're dealing with something difficult and there is't someone to turn to. That's why I found 7 cup's support so helpful. I'm almost always on the site if you would like to keep chatting here. I'm not a listener, otherwise I would message you directly.
@reliableLemon227 I feel the same way at school. I mean, have people I hang out with, but nobody I would count as a good friend that I can talk to.
I don't know who I have. But I definitely feel alone.
I feel this so much lately. I have zero close friends outside of my marriage. I love my spouse but I still feel isolated and lonely without other friends who care 😞

What you are feeling is totally relatable, what a lot of people truly want is human connection. We have to just start small and try, as much as it is reaaallly hard sometimes, to be positive
@reliableLemon227 I feel the same and i find it hard to trust people after a lot of betrayal but we need to love ourselves first and enjoy the company of ourselves and then we will be happy no matter what happen

@reliableLemon227 You are not alone in your feeling alone, as ironic as that sounds. I definitely feel the same way. I always feel like if I sat in a crowded room, noone would notice I am there, & noone would notice if I left.

I think sometimes people are afraid of confrontation of asking people what's wrong and stuff it kind of feels like your ignored but theres always someone curious from a distance I believe. Yes we may not consciously have friends but perhaps we do have allies in our journey through life.
@ShadowTag exactly. I know I hate confrontation in the way of fighting. But I am definitely more in tuned to someone being not themselves & make an effort to check on them & ask, & I feel like that isn't extended to me, especially with my family. I could be at a family gathering & leave, & no one would ever notice that I left, they wouldn't notice if I didn't show up. I could be crying & no one would come up & ask me what's wrong. I feel like I don't matter to anyone, & often wonder why I am here?

I understand how you feel. I'm saying how an outsiders perspective may be someone who may not really know who this person is or their normal behaviour it might be more intimidating and we're more afraid of saying the wrong thing/being hurt by them for our lack of knowledge about them etc. It takes a lot to get to know someone and really only people you live with on a daily basis can you really get a full handle of kind of how they are and notice the small changes that may not be expressed.

That's not true! I'm sure if a certain person knew you they'd love having you around with them. Look at this post now. They want a friend imagine if you were that friend. you'd want each other alive to be friends, right? besides who else will fill that special place that only you can? you have talents that no one else truly carries, you may not believe this now, but you are important and you are important to people.

Hey come on now, someone knows your there they just may be too shy to approach you that's the thing about people we are afraid to apporach others we don't like to be confronted a lot we get scared we're insecure beings that doesn't mean no one cares because someone truly cares/ You are an important part of our world just like everyone else has their special place. It's an unspoken truth. you are here and noticed. Look. even I noticed you, right?
