Panicking over wrong uniform size
I recently got 4 pairs of my work uniform. I was allowed to pick the size and they had a few spare uniforms to try on, but none in the exact size I thought I would need, but one was very close, and I made my decision due to that.
Now I’m mortified because I have 4 sets of uniforms that are far too big. I knew I probably wouldn’t like the size, but too big is better than too small.
The fit design of the uniform was also one of the types that normally never fit right under any circumstances for me, and there was another design that was better, but I chose the first design because of it’s better pocket layout.
I don’t know what to do. Picking uniform sizes is always a disaster for me because I can never figure out what size I am, and I’ve gone and picked the wrong size again! But this time it’s not just 1 uniform, it’s 4.
I could just buy the right size online, but then my coworkers might notice that my uniform changed!

Hey it is okay to panick but i want you to know that it is okay you can always get the uniform size changed? Or can buy new too?

I panic a lot because of this too, but the other way around, its fine if you dont feel okay and buy another online, if they tell you something i dont think they will mean bad will they? If they do its none of their business tho
Thanks for the replies! I think I could ask for different-sized uniforms, but I just don’t have the capacity to handle that kind of stress at the moment.
I ended up just buying uniforms online since the oversized uniforms were causing huge problems (mainly the drawstrings on the pants kept getting stuck so I could not take off the pants at all, which made bathroom breaks difficult) and they were actually pretty cheap.
I got the alternative design in a smaller size, and they’re actually quite comfortable and fit just right! I don’t know what to do with the big uniforms tho; still too scared to ask.

I know it can be scary but there's nothing wrong in asking them for an exchange of size or if possible a refund too, try it once you'll be okay . They will not do or say anything wrong to you , focus on breathing and grounding yourself if you feel panicky or maybe ask a friend or someone to accompany you , it will be okay , I beleive in YOU ❤️
