Does anybody know how to deal with physical symptoms of anxiety? Everytime I have a presentation or etc (which is almost like every week) I get nausea and stomach ache, I just can't eat without feeling like throwing up

@Amanda1616 i know its cliche but when i get physical symptoms i sometimes have to power through it and usually when im doing the activity that was giving me those problems to begin with the symptoms ease. for me its usually the fear of doing it before hand that gives me a stomach ache, and when im doing it it goes away but remember we are all different. i hope it gets easier for you soon <3

@Amanda1616 I understand, I actually get some quite bad diahrrea if I'm really anxious which can make it very challenging to even leave the house. But the only thing I have found actually helps me there is to just leave the house, usually it then stops immediately. It's amazing actually the physical symptoms that anxiety and the body can throw at us. I hope it gets better for you soon <3

@Amanda1616 I don't know if this would help you or not, or if you've already tried, but there are some Self-Help Guides available on 7 Cups, to do with different topics, including anxiety or building self-esteem or social phobias. There are also some Mindfulness Exercises available. These are short recordings of guided meditations, also relating to a variety of topics. Perhaps these would be worth a try if you haven't gone through them yet?

Wishing you all the best of luck in your journey.

@Amanda1616 if you have a psychiatrist you can ask them for an as needed anxiety med like attivan or xanax. for me, they honestly don't do much, but it may very for each person. i have found meditation/affirmations/hypnosis have helped me a little over time as I've built them into my life in general.
