I'm sorry blitheSung94, I wish I had the answer and I wish I didn't have to take meds either. I don't have Bipolar, just depression, anxiety and panic attacks. But I do get tired of taking medication......hate the side effects and just the fact that to feel some relief I have to take them. It would be great to just be "normal".
Is it the side effects from your medication that makes you not want to take it?
I hope you feel better.
Bless you 🙏🏻
Hey there. Another perspective on bipolar recovery is Tom Wootton's Bipolar In Order. They're neither pro nor against medication; they see the "illness" completely differently. Maybe that is more in alignment with your current set of goals!

Keep in mind - getting enough sleep and having regular activity is crucial in continued health
Thanks all! It isn't that I've stopped my medication. I don't start them until the 31st, so I'm white knuckling my symptoms until then. I've been closely monitoring my sleep because that's a huge trigger of mine. As well as diet and activity. I thought about exercise. I think I'll utilize yoga right now.
Thanks again. I'm having trouble speaking clearly, easily distracted, overly social...and other things. I appreciate it. I'm going to take a sleep aid tonight. Might break it.
@blitheSun94
yoga is excellent for grounding, I used to do Hathaway yoga and always felt entered and grounded after a session. I had to stop after a back and neck injury which limited me too much to participate. I did take up a yogic mantra meditation which is helpful, but I find it difficult to be disciplined enough to do it on a consistent basis. It's a 20min session twice per day. I'd tried various different meditations before I found this one which really does work for me, the book I got it from is called "Deep Mediation" by Yogani.......he does have a website that has lots of info on yogic practice if your interested.
glad your feeling neutral for now, take care.
