Mood Swings
Does anyone else experience mood swings that cycle throughout the day? I started today fairly optimistic and right now I'm feeling irritated, almost angry. It's so easy for me to get hung up on a random thought that will catapult me to an extreme. I rarely feel "happy" but once I get in an "angry" trajectory, I'll stay in that mindset for a while.
I'm open to talk about others' experience with bipolar in general. I don't have any other peers or friends that share a bipolar diagnosis. Any feedback is welcome. :)
@niseyyy
I'm not diagnosed with bipolar but there's a chance I have it.
I can experience rapid mood cycles. Something will make me angry, which makes me sad and cry as I don't like anger, which makes me happy and laugh because I'm glad I can feel. I can fall into depression at the slightest hint of rejection, and shortly after see so much light in life.
Each day feels like the full range of the human experience. It is hard to find balance but it is getting better, especially since I've been expressing myself here.
So I don't know for certain if that's bipolar, but I do relate to a changing mood throughout the day!
@niseyyy I go through that a lot except my morning starts off annoyed that I woke up have a coffee feeling pretty good but by about noon time I'm agitated for the rest of my day and I have no idea on what to do about it I take my meds and everything I see my dr regularly yet still the mood swings still happen and morning thoughts are stay there there daily.
I am both diagnosed and being treated for bipolar. As long as I take my meds, I wake up feeling ok. I naturally have more energy in the morning so I feel good. But it usually goes to *** pretty quickly.

The same thing happens to me
I completely get that one. I live with roommates that don’t understand my moods as I don’t tell or share my being bipolar. I do find I get angry and irritated especially when I feel they don’t listen to me. Sadness or happiness I find it’s all cyclical too. Part of the daily life of a bipolar person but don’t stop being you. Talk it out with someone you really trust like a therapist. Good luck!
