CDM Progress Report (OUTDATED)

This thread serves as progress reports for CDM Program.
We would love to hear how you are doing!
Each week, we would like you to reply to this thread answering the following three questions:
- Which discussion was the last you completed?
- What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?
- What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.

I have now submitted my article and received approval and some needed complements. Same with my practical electives. Since there is a little chunk of time until the end date I've submitted to do the honors assignment. I very suddenly lost a person who has been in my life forever yesterday, but she would want me to go for the best despite everything. My advice this week is to cherish every second and take the advice at the beginning of the course and save your assignment responses. Google Docs is fantastic for it and well organized.

I completed my last discussion, the Coursework Part II Participation Report Form and the Coursework Completion Quiz. Now, I'm all ready to move on to the practical components.

This week I finished lessons from 4 to 8 and it wasn't much hard. I liked how it made me think more deeply and develop new skills when it comes to writing content. This week I plan on finishing all lessons. How is everyone else doing?

i have done up to lesson 9, I know I'm a tad behind, its cookie season and I am so exhausted 🥺
but I love this course so much!

Have finished the CDM course. Sent my final form in a few days ago now. I absolutely loved the course and learned things of value on and off 7 cups. This course has even directed to me to make a selection of certain professional writing courses in college. The only part I struggled with was not getting to do the honors option. But there was a close family member who passed away and time was running short. My advice for this course is to take notes, save your responses in a special place because you will need them again, and if you have a problem approach a mentor. They are all great and are understanding. I look forward to writing more articles. And I would love to become a CDM academy mentor if they are looking. I don't want to leave the course.

I have been unwell and struggled to find time to participate. - What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.
It is very interesting but I do wonder who checks all the content as when something is posted here it is taken as truth.

- What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around? I had to prolong my program due to some personal issues and I am happy that I can continue now :)
- What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others. The selection of the topic and the research is so insightful and interesting.

I have recently submitted my article title and it got approved.
My weekly progress
- coursework part 1 completed

- Coursework Part II: Participation Report Form : submitted
- Coursework Completion Quiz : submitted
- What are some things you struggled with or didn't quite get right the first time around?
- My first submitted article title was not approved as it was too long and had too many words. A mentor reached out to me and suggested tweaking the title and gave me tips to optimize. After doing it the article title was approved and now I am working on the article.
- I have chosen to post a minimum of 5 content as part of my elective. I have not managed to get the required engagement just yet but I will try new ways in upcoming posts.
- What went well? Share some tips you find helpful to help others.
All the discussions included in the courses with detailed instructions are so helpful to follow through. I had a lot of opportunities to try creative writing with guidelines.
