What advice would you give to your 10 year old self?
I’d say that although life gets better, it’ll still be hard, but… you’ll get back in contact with Veda, who, btw, is trans and goes by X now and uses any pronouns but she/her. And to enjoy your dads dad jokes and ridiculous smart-alecky comments, because not everyone has good parents.
Everything will be OK. You are strong. You are loved. You have people around you who will help and take care of you. Don't let others tell you that you are stupid or that you are not enough.
Heal baby. What you're going through is tough but you're a lot stronger. Learn to forgive. Play more and have fun. Share each and everything with your father. He's your biggest support in the purest form.
Love
Your future self
You are incredible. You are not a failure. You are not worthless. Don’t compare yourself to your sister and don’t believe everything your parents tell you. Don’t let your dad guilt you into thinking you should believe in a different religion than you actually do. Don’t let your parents try and put a boundary on who you can be friends with and try and get you to compare yourself to them. Don’t be jealous because your friends have other friends; instead, cherish the moments and the love you have with them. Be your own person, because conforming to what you think your parents think you should be isn’t the only way to be successful. Be true to yourself.
Your bad days are not a joke. You are funny and you don’t have to be humor-less because your parents told you you couldn’t be otherwise. You matter, and people care about you. And you are amazing just the way you are.

I'd say: It's okay to make mistakes, you don't have to be hard on yourself for doing something wrong, sometimes it's just okay. Don't waste time trying to control things that are out of your control. Love, tell the people you love that you absolutely love them. Cherish and treasure all the beautiful moments, be brave when it comes to standing up for yourself or others. 🤍
This is such a nice prompt, my childhood affects me til this day so reconnecting with 10 year old her again is special to me.
I would tell her today who she is as a person is all she needs, don’t let your parents issues involve you - it’s between them and you’ll soon come to realize you are an individual. Don’t change for anyone and focus on your growth. Don’t believe you need school to make it, you are strong and smart and you will be fine.
BTW your sister will end up being your best friend so try not to pull her hair and bicker so much, you’ll realize one day how vital she is to you and your unbreakable bond will with her will some days be the reason you feel motivated to be better. You can definitely do it without her, but she is always there to support and love you. You have both been through hell and back together and nobody understands that better than she does ❤️ you got this.
DON'T GROW UP!!!!!!!
Leave. Go far away. Go anywhere else and do anything. And never look back.
Don't be afraid to be yourself, now is the time for you to sing your song, don't dim your light. Protect your heart, but also share all that love. Your true friends will stick with you. Some people are only there for a season. Keep writing and enter writing contests
Everyone in your family is not against you. Some of the ones who seem so hard on the outside are actually cheering for you and will be your greatest support.
