What’s a signal you look for that indicates good company culture?

I have done temp work in many multi-national companies .....

I stay as temp ( have had many full time offers) because some companies are chasing their tails trying to be something for everyone ........ if they have a bunch of "motto's" or policies to try to what ever is trending socially ....... do not bother applying it often is window dressing.

the day to day how people treat each other........

the collaboration not that is the other departments so they would rather watch something go wrong then step up clearly shows lack of the big picture........ most people do not look past the PR/ public face statements and brochures in dealing with companies ......... you need to look deeper.....
