Why do you write?
Different people have different reasons to write. Whether for your personal enjoyment, to create new worlds and share them or to expand your literary knowledge. I know his isn't an uncommon question, but it's wonderful to see the wide variety of answers.
So, Why do you write? Did something specific inspire you to write? If so, what?

Aw yes a common question but always good to create more opportunities for expression and writing for people hehe, so thank you for this prompt, Eyes!😊
Very common answer to this very common question xD for self-expression hehe.
Not to sound all sad here lol, because I am not :P I think what inspired me to pick up a pen(cil) and paper to write was not having anyone around to listen or share things with.
I'm actually grateful for the very very kiddo-ish-sun to do that, because it's liberating now, having just your journal and yourself against the world (lol so dramatic 😂)!
I like to write because it's a great way to express myself plus to allow some form of let out to some of my thoughts (atleast xD).
Ooh and writing is an effective way to acknowledge and "organize" thoughts too.
So many pros!
How about you? What do you like to write about usually and what inspired you to write in the first place?❤
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou kiddo-you discovered something amazing truly 👐 im glad writing could help you in times you felt unheard ❤️
I write poems usually. They help me process my emotions better and understand myself. Sometimes they just help me let go of negative feelings. Sharing them also helps as self expression ^-^
@unassumingEyes
Aw thank you and yay I'm glad you found a means for self expression in writing and sharing poems.❤
I admire people who can put words together poetically lol, I can--not xD so way to go youuu!❤
Writing is vital for my well being. Journaling, poetry, books. Creativity in general is great!
As A teen I use to write in a journal but consisted of what happened throughout the day. As time went on and I continued bring abused I found something that I refer to as “Pieces.” It’s my unique form of poetry which I play on words ex: for anger to describe anger I replace IT with the word battery. In my “Pieces” I write bout things I’ve either been through, seen, a person stc. I have titles such as Talking with the eyes, Da beauty of the World, God, etc. I write through a difference lens of my eye’s an feeling than what I do normally rather when I write I become that’s “Piece “ dat I’m writing bout. It helps me mentally to stay positive.
@eternalHero77 that sounds very interesting! I'd be glad to see some of your poetry, if you ever wish to share <3
