It was my dream that this bed would fly,
Just me and you having a view of the entire world,
And it's for us to share,
And follow the night around the world.
...but my head was in the clouds.
You aren't here.
No one ever was here to stay.
And this bed is so low to the ground,
That it would stay until an unmoving body sinks into it,
If it isn't forced to move.
....my head in the clouds is just one way,
That I keep moving.
A day in the life of a cloud,
Only sees so much at once.
Truly nothing depressing about my overcast days,
I'll touch down at the highest places,
I'd like to meet you there,
I can't stay and cling to the places you end up,
Though I'd welcome it if you'd spread new wings,
If we move through and above everything worth seeing,
It won't be so unlike my dream at all.
@Torean As always, I enjoyed your prompt response and creativity ☺️ One line that stuck with me:
"A day in the life of a cloud, Only sees so much at once."
I can relate to having one's "head in the clouds" often whether it be plans, ideas or anxious thoughts so something about that line reminds me not everything can/should be done all at once. Journaling is super helpful for me in this case because like clouds, I can return back to them the next day

A day in the life of a cloud.
It makes you wonder, how is it as a life of a Cloud. Let us see where it leads.
I am formed from the dust and dirt in the air. Particulate matter floating through space. They call it “Smoke” or “Cosmic Dust”. I am made of magic that water molecules form on and in brief times I am huge. Miles upon miles of my essence spreads on the edge of the atmosphere. Many kilometers above the surface humans require to live on. I reflect at night time, they call me noctilucent, “Night Shining”. How wondrous I am, but do you see me?
I bring you life altering essence, you humans refer to it as Water. All life here needs me to bring this to them. The animals, the trees, the plants like grass. I am a part of the cycle of life. How essential I am, but do you see me?
Sometimes I just hang out and provide the earth some shade from the UV radiation. UV can burn you, see how I helped that. It is a lazy life here. Float here float there. How complicated it must be for humans to get from point A to point B. It must be rough. What do humans do? How do they contribute like I do? What purpose do they have? I know what I am supposed to do, but they just …. What do they do?
The strain of solving the world’s problems is
hard on me.
@Barltik2065 I truly loved this, awesome and unique job! I mentioned in another post how much I personally love educational fun facts being incorporated in stories. You did a really fun and informative job literally putting yourself in the perspective of a cloud and explaining its entire form while describing its typical day ⛅️ 💙
@Barltik2065 Also valid questions from your cloud:
"What do humans do? How do they contribute like I do? What purpose do they have? I know what I am supposed to do, but they just …. What do they do?"
I need to actually reflect on these and challenge myself to come back with an answer
@SirenOfSerenity
My hope with this is to make someone feel.
With such fun activities as such as this one is, it made me think and wonder.
I never sleep
I simply float
Sometimes whispy thin
Other times I weep, when the weight of me is too much to bear
And yet my tears bring life in a way
But bring death for some
My little light shows that you stare at in awe
You run inside, away from me?
I bring water, I bring fire
I am simply ushered along by the wind
Although sometimes all too quickly
I don't sleep yet I never tire
For I'm just a cloud
Drifting
Hi there @LonleyCheese ☺️🧀 I like the structure that you always deliver your responses in, when reading this I enjoyed not only your actual words but I was able to visualize an actual cloud saying this in poetic tone xD (This is the best/most appropriate gif I could find to match "cool cloud" lol)

@SirenOfSerenity Thank you so much! I love when these prompts come up in my notifications, it's always a nice break from school work and so much fun to just spill words until they make sense you know?
