"What goes around, comes around."

An image of Ouroboros,
History shows again and again,
It'll never get its fill,
You won't either,
I won't either,
History is a warning,
I see things in cycles of abuse,
Anything I can throw into the teeth,
Gears never stop being hungry from turning,
And I just don't want,
People to keep getting caught,
Falling between the cracks,
So many of us at the bottom,
Somewhere obscured,
History is a threat,
The position more than the man,
They're both dangerous,
And yet someone always stands up,
At some point someone does,
It always comes back around,
What we have is the essence,
It's as timeless as good music,
An apple can fall close to the tree,
But fall far from repeat,
We always bring together a little more,
Maybe closer to coming together,
We're more than a growing oddity,
Seasons and generations,
They are more capable than institutions,
And so are you,
And so am I,
I can see things in a bigger picture than cycles,
By looking at the details,
By looking at the human that learns,
By looking at what is timeless enough,
To keep the machine moving,
To justify the nature that's been here all along.

Everyone always says that.
They always tell you that you'll pay for your poor actions
And maybe we will
But really, they don't think quite so positive
Put some good into the world
Some cheer in your step and a shine in your smile
Help where you can
And it'll come right back to you.
Whether that's a smile right back or help from a stranger in time of need-
What goes around comes around
so do good deeds.
