Two recipes.
I really, really liked the first recipe,
But for some reason I couldn't do that one.
I found a second one that was good enough.
I didn't leave myself much time,
It was off to baking,
I had no help,
I'd cooked, but never baked before.
Halfway through...I realized I was using the wrong recipe,
The one I couldn't fully do.
I had to switch to the other and use my best judgment,
With zero experience under my belt.
I almost gave up 8 times,
But I really wanted people to like it.
All said and done, it was everyone's favorite.
A legit delicious pumpkin cream cheese pie.
I really didn't think I was going to pull it off.
I didn't think I'd make it through the requirements for a college degree. I majored in cinema, and it involved two classes of film production and several other cinema classes involving various aspects of film. I took two classes of screenwriting, which seemed a lot easier than one would think, too.
The production classes were the worst. Though I'd always wanted to be a filmmaker, these classes went poorly. The first class involved making four super-8 films. They were each only a few minutes long. The last one had non-sync sound (soundtrack music, ambient sound, but no dialogue or sound effects that had to match the action onscreen). In the second class, we had to make a 16-mil film with non-sync sound, but with a minimum of two tracks of sound. This class was much more intense. We had to edit using hot splicing, also known as conforming.
One of the main problems I had in these production classes was that my mind would go blank when it was time to make each film. It was like writer's block. It was hard to think of a topic that could be handled properly in a three-minute film. I got through it all, though, and finished my degree in 1990. I just took it one semester at a time.
I've been sick with fever
Sore throat running nose
Feeling cold for the first time this summer
Sweating and sniffing just trying to sleep
And in addition to all of that, my legs on fire from leg day yesterday
I'm not sure I'll fall asleep
Will it get better?
But this morning it's better
Yes I'm still ill
But I know I'll make it this time
@LonleyCheese
you will! i hope you're feeling better now!
@Clarisse29 thank you, i am fortunatley much better now
