Our Favorite Affirmations

Affirmations are short, generally positive, statements or phrases that can help challenge negative or challenging thoughts. Affirmations work by leading to long-term changes in the way we think and feel, and so many people find them helpful.
While there may be many affirmations you can look up on the internet for several topics, writing your own affirmation for yourself, generally or for a specific challenge, can be powerful on its own.
Do you have an affirmation that helps you? Please share it in this thread so that we can collect our favorite/most useful affirmations.
@SoulfullyAButterfly One affirmation that helps me through tough times is "I have survived 100% of my hardest days!"
I love myself for who I am
Joshua 1:5
I can do it. I will achieve anything I plan to.
@SoulfullyAButterfly
one affirmation that always helps is don't try to be someone else, being yourself is fine!!!
@NewYorker11
Gonna have to disagree with that one, our essence of learning is to change, the saying goes, when i let go of what I am I can become what I might be. You let go and change.
Brian tracey states that in order to grasp the skill sets you need you need to learn from successful people, adopting their habits and letting go of yours.
Movement requires change, skills and abilities change. In order for a plant to turn into a tree, it must be moved from the pot and put into the field, this requires to change location in order to grow. The plant is no longer the same, it can now bare fruit.
Also when we read scripture, we are stuck in our ways, sinful, some of us wicked, some of us crooked, as scripture states you must be born again.
Logic and reason/rationality, science and scripture shows us we all must change, if those three things all agree with each other. Then you must change.

"don't try to be someone else, being yourself is fine!!!"
Hi!
I absolutely agree with you in this one. Always try to be faithful to yourself.
@Helgafy
thanks!!! and i agree, being faithful to yourself is a great personal virtue!!!
@EmbStitcher33
Yes I agree.
@SoulfullyAButterfly
i truly have people who care, and i cant leave them
I'm learning more about Mindfulness... I subscribed to a daily affirmation email list... this is what I read today:
“I am safe and secure in receiving the new things the universe is bringing into my life.“
I am real. My love is real. My feelings are real.
@SoulfullyAButterfly
I’m hard on myself so reminding myself somehow, however I can that I’m not going to change overnight and that things are okay and that even though my family is all messed up and I’m lonely and tired and also messed up it just seems important to remind myself so I can relax a bit. I’m almost always tense and stressing about something.
@Dallady
i don’t like these quotes, they have a element as if you have a chain on you and the only thing you can do is wait for the next night.
I like quotes that cracks those barriers, that give you discernment that in the mean time you can prep, plan, reproof, speculate and begin to attack it…
You cannot change your destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight
- Jim rhon
The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.
- William Arthur
“If You Fail to Plan, You Are Planning to Fail” — Benjamin Franklin.
Jim was backed affirmations, only if they have action behind them, affirmations with out execution is the beginning of delusion.
Brian Tracey’s book called eat that frog, he narrows down the importance of time management, to get the harder things done that is of importance than the others, like his principles of eating a live frog, it’s not appealing to eat a live frog, the more you look at it the more likely you’re going to do it, he said to eat the frog as quick as possible and get it out of your way, just like your tasks and priorities, to do the hard ones first and get it over with. Or you’ll procrastinate and never get it done.
Procrastination is the thief of time, collar him.
Procrastination makes easy things hard, hard things harder.
Mason cooley
You don’t need it all figured out. The more you think you do, the more you’ll procrastinate and fear moving forward. Have courage and start now, even if you start small.
~Thibaut
Action is the antidote to fear and anxiety.
Don’t put off what you can tomorrow if you can do it now.
Tomorrow may never come, this is true, we might get a year added, but we won’t get what we want out of that year. We can also get in that year done in a day, if we just do it. Some people work a whole year and get a average salary, while others can make the same amount of money in 1/10th the time, Jim calls this value. You dont get paid more than what you do, so do more, and you will be paid more. Do a career not a job. Have relationships no just coworkers. It’s not easy, but we can see millions of people have done it, so why can’t we?
Drop the excuse and the problem can be resolved.
Similar to confucius who says when the student is ready the master appears, when the student is truly ready the master disappears. That is understandable, since once you are taught by the master, when he leaves you have what is teaches and thence become the master, the ability to teach can be passed on.
In order to lead we must follow.
