Welcome to the Content Volunteer everyone! I am so excited to be working with you all.

We are looking forward to expand the team as more opportunities open up.

Please feel welcome to share your introduction or anything else in this thread! We will have other getting to know one another opportunities too in the future.

I have always loved writing - my classmates and English teachers in middle school really enjoyed reading my essays. I've always been creative as well and as I've grown older, I've found that writing can be very powerful - it's so cool how our pens/words can lead to change. I've blogged and written about topics that I am passionate about, and some of those relate to UN SDG's etc. As a psychology student, I appreciate topics that relate to our mental health and wellbeing. I have enjoyed using poetry as a way to advocate mental health and express myself as well.

I can't wait to create more awesome content.

Looking forward to hearing from all of you,

SoulfullyAButterfly/Ayesha

Hey everyone you can call me Light. I started writing when I was younger to process things. I'm always reading so writing my thoughts into words allowed me to process it. I am currently get my Masters in Counseling. I am an aspiring neurophysiologist! I love figuring how how things work, and doing research. This has made it so I've come to love articles and ghost writing! I feel honored to be part of this team. 🥰

I am thankful for this opportunity to be able to share my time and personal experience in order to help others find avenues in their daily challenges with depression. While I'm not an experienced writer, I look forward to learning how to write effectively in order to convey thoughts that could be beneficial for those who find them. Thank you.

Hi there, I am called InquireWithin. I have written in one way or another for over 30 years, be it prose, poetry, or artwork using a stylus to apply media-- which is a kind of writing, if you stretch your imagination! :) I look forward to contributing as I am able!

Greetings! I'm Mia, and I do a lot of technical writing as part of my job - boring stuff like policies, procedures and training documents. Looking forward to spending some time writing about topics that interest me personally, alongside this wonderful and capable team.

Hi, I'm Angela and I enjoy writing casual pieces, poetry, and articles of my own. Normally, I read boring things like laws and policies. My heart yearns for introspective content, though, and I want to help others. I really am looking forward to contributing to 7Cups' content and working witht he community!

@CompassionateLotus - Welcome! My reading and writing is also limited to boring topics (policies and procedures, mostly) so looks like we're volunteer twins!

Hello! I'm Victor, used to be a software engineer but is now trying to break into writing. I have written articles on topics such as philosophy and well-being before, but my writing skill is elementary. Hope to learn a lot from this program and I'm excited to work with all of you wonderful people :) Oh, another thing I'm interested in is to apply Buddhist teachings on subjective well-being, so feel free to reach out and discuss with me if you're willing.

@Pitokk Welcome to the team! I may hit you up on learning more about Buddhism, as I run into this as a listener and feel I would benefit from being more knowledgeable. This is one of the most challenging things about being a listener - adjusting to and respecting multiple cultural backgrounds! It's been a fascinating journey for me, personally.

Yes, feel free to hit me up anytime. There are many misunderstandings about what exactly the Buddha taught, and depending on which tradition, the emphasis of his teachings is a little different. But one thing that is common is the state of mind reached when one has trained one's mind enough, which is unconditioned happiness. Sounds ambitious, righr? However, the Buddha did provide a sound reasoning and framework to achieve exactly that.

I love to see the Buddha's teaching as an empirical study of subjective well-being with our experiences as the basis for observation and manipulation :D like Positive Psychology but with slightly different goal and approach.
