A lot of answers posted already cover the ways we express gratitude in my culture, I particularly like to be of service to the other individual and give them my time and support as and when needed.
By touching feet if the person is elderly or giving a hug.

Besides thank you, how do you show gratitude in your in home country/culture?
I've said "Ich bin dir dankbar"; I'm thankful to you or "Tausend dank"; A thousand thanks. Even "Bitte schon"; simply thank you. Also, I will make up a small basket of favorite food items of the person I'm thanking.❤️🌺
Notes, hugs, gifts. Even to complete strangers I see do somthing nice I go thank them and yell them it brightens my day to witness kind people

So, living in the southern US, thankfulness might often be shown as genuinely enjoying each other's company and helping out when needed, and mostly all the basic stuff. I also partly grew up at my Polish grandma's house. I don't know how to explain it, but it was very much the same with a bit more formality to it. Also hard to explain, but there was a lot of respectfulness even during heated disagreements.

I'm Southern and that's so true. Gotta offer everyone a cold drink and be polite.

To express my gratitude, I hug those who mean so much to me (both virtual and offline), and tell them how grateful I am to have them in my lives. We do this especially on Thanksgiving, which is the day to give thanks! 💜

Smile, compliment, gifts (flowers, food, hamper), offer to help out. Invite for a meal.

I plant wild flowers at the park (it's allowed and encouraged).
