Hesitate to leave

Hello, I need sincere help.

I have wasted 1 and a half years in scanning. They hired me as a CSO (Customer Service Officer), but they left me alone in scanning. I was the only one doing that work.

Even now as a CSO, I have a bad supervisor who treats me like a tool. I know myself, I know everything in this work, and I have helped the company to grow, but management only listens to him. No one sees my hard work. I have done a lot for this company.

I see people who came just a few months ago talking about promotion, and they are being praised, while for me, they only complain and give me a hard time. They look down on me.

So I need help: should I leave this job or should I be patient? I have decided to leave at the end of this year, but I am hesitating because of my family. This job has really affected me mentally.

@amiableHuman2984 Be patient till you find another Job, or else you shall be in more predicament. Everything is explained by duality of life, for there shall always be better days after tough ones.

Leave and go into business for yourself somehow is my advice. They don't like you because you can do it better than them (management), and they can feel that. Love and light ✝️

What is scanning? How many years of experience do you have? What's the current job market like for your industry? Do you have enough financial reserve to keep you (and any dependents) afloat while you look for another job?

It's hard to give solid advice without knowing more about what you do and your background; leaving to find another job could be the right move or not depending on how likely you are to find another job.

Either way, best of luck. I pray to God you find a role that you're happy in :)

You’ve already given this job enough time. If it’s affecting you this much, don’t ignore it. I’d suggest start looking for another job now while keeping this one, and leave once you have a stable offer. Your family needs you, but so do your own well-being and future.

@amiableHuman2984 apply for jobs lowkey so that way you have a new job before you leave.
