What languages can you all speak, and could you teach us one word from one of the languages you speak?
I’ll start: flower in Mandarin is 花 🌼

@Mandie108 I can speak Balti, Urdu, English, and to some extent, French.
In Balti, for flower, we use "Mindoq", "Snam" for sky, and " Ringchan" for Dearest (quite a poetic collection of words :p)
(Fun fact: Balti and Mandarin have originated from the same linguistic roots)

@Mandie108 in russian there is a word can be use for a lot of thing like ¡come on! or You can!! you pronunce like "Davay or davai"

😂this expression is very common in the UAE. Depending on the tone, it can mean "What's wrong with you?", "Are you kidding?", "What', the joke about " or "What is this?" If it's said in anger, it can come across as a stronger expression of frustration or disapproval, but the tone and context make the difference.
