So, it's "Atho" i had this tonight 😋
It's a famous street food in our in TN. but It came to Tamil Nadu through Tamil migrants who lived in Burma (Myanmar) and returned decades ago, bringing the recipe with them.
What It Tastes: 😋
Bright orange noodles (often tossed in garlic oil)
Shredded cabbage, onions, coriander
Tamarind juice, lime juice, chilli powder for zing
Crispy bits like fried onions or bejo (a crunchy puff) on top
Sometimes served with a hot side soup poured around or over it
Street variations include egg atho, chicken atho or prawn atho too 🍤🍗 — so you get both veg & non-veg choices.
🤗💜✨
@Paliloveyourself

Kaju katli:
Kaju katli is a legendary Indian sweet—thin diamond-shaped slabs made from ground cashews, sugar syrup, and a little ghee. No flour, no nonsense. It’s smooth, slightly chewy, rich without being heavy, and often wrapped in that shiny edible silver leaf (varak) that makes it look like luxury merchandise straight off a dessert runway
In the Indian sweets portfolio, kaju katli is considered premium—light on the stomach, clean flavor profile, and universally acceptable even to people who pretend they “don’t like sweets.
Thatss myy favv 😍😋
THAT’S SO PRETTY!! <3
Of course... taste so great too 😋🤤
I love samosas! Especially with chutney! I've had them from the frozen section of the grocery store.

Samosa! 😋
It’s a famous snack here. I only like it with red chutney—nothing else hits the same. 😋
By the way, what do you mean by ‘frozen section’? 😮
Freshly made samosas are unbeatable. Once they’re preserved or stored, the taste drops for real, at least in my experience. 🤔
@jesusredeemedme2425 although I am not from India, but I love South Indian dishes. The food is great
@plushPalm56
Girlyyyy.... I'm a south indian...!! 😍🤗
Isn't it??? South Indian food Hits different. 😊
Ooo, I am north Indian and haven't really tried South Indian dishes. Do you have any suggestions? 😃
@Ailuraphilelove8tear9 omg I love South Indian food. My recent favourite is Thatte Idli with Molaga Podi. I am also a fan of Idiyappam. How about you?
