Nasi Goreng is the popular Indonesian fried rice which is traditionally served with a fried egg.

@jesusredeemedme2425 I have a sister, a travel exchange sister from Indonesia. And she used to have alot of Indomie noodles 😃 even she suggested me to have it and said we eat this alot in Indonesia, and we ended up buying alot of them and we cooked togther and had perfect sibling dinner with indome noodles. She would add eggs, veggies and alot of different spices but it tasted amazing 💛💛💛

Im from indonesia and i will share to you some of popular foods in my my area, idk how to insert picture here or upload it so let me write the name perhaps you can try search it online 😅

1. Soto ayam(chicken soup)

2. Rawon(black beef soup, it used pangium edule that made the soup black)

3. Penyetan(usually chicken/duck/fish ot seafood with rice and sambal)

4. Kare ayam

   Kinda like chicken soup but with more fat befause its made with santan(a thick coconut water extract)

5. Opor ayam(similar to kare ayam but usually isnt spicy)

6. Bakso/bakwan this is kinda like a mix acculturation of chinese and indonesian food culture thus created bakso with its own unique taste

Foods from outside my area that i know:

1. Coto makassar(beef soup usually with heavier fat than rawon)

2. Konro(beef soup also heavy fats with rib)

I think the food here is influenced with the chinese and indian and the middle eastern culture, there is some foods/drinks that also influenced by the dutch, some of it that i know:

1. Perkedel

2. Kastengel

3. Javanese steak

4. Semur

5. Risoles

6. Nastar(small version of pineapple pie)

7. Ice cream( there are some ice cream places in indonesia thats built by european, dutch people and still standing and perserved as original as it can be)

8. Leker(usually with banana slice, chocolate grain, sugar and it is said that this is the small version and local adaption of the dutch/european crepes)

If you have free time, you can try looking up "abroad and hungry" channel in youtube, he is an jtalian guy who try foods all around the world including some cities in indonesia and so far he is one of the most interesting food youtuber ive seen
