Anticuchos are a popular Peruvian street food that features skewered and grilled beef heart marinated in a flavorful blend of spices and herbs. The dish is known for its tender and juicy texture, with a slightly chewy consistency that’s similar to steak. The marinade adds a unique and bold flavor profile that incorporates smoky, spicy, and savory notes. If you’re looking for a delicious and adventurous dish to try, Anticuchos are a must-try. Not only are they a staple of Peruvian cuisine, but they’re also a great way to explore new flavors and cooking techniques.

I don't know much about Peruvian food, but I want to go there. I would like to visit Machu Picchu, and take language class.
@reservedOwl321 Machu picchu would be so awesome to see!
@reservedOwl321 what's Machu Picchu??😮
@Ailuraphilelove8tear9 It's a 15th-century Inca citadel in the Andes Mountains of Peru

Imagine exploring that <3
@jesusredeemedme2425 It would be amazing! So much history
So many hidden crevices and books to discover <3
Nooks*
@jesusredeemedme2425 Definitely! From what I've read people are only allowed to spend a certain amount of time at the main site.
@mytwistedsoul Why it has time restriction?😮
@Ailuraphilelove8tear9 It's supposed to help limit damage to the grounds and areas. Plus it's really popular. You need to get tickets in advance and those are timed slots. So if your ticket says morning 6am- 9am that's when you can enter. If you're late you're sol. You should get tickets 2-3 months in advance and they have a daily limit of people they let in
Alpaca steak with gravy (um 😅 idk about this) 😬

I mean… We eat cows and sheep. Why not alpacas lol
@jesusredeemedme2425 True and this is supposed to be better for you than beef. I guess it's just the idea of it that turns me off 😅
They’re so fluffy!!!!
@jesusredeemedme2425 Ikr?! But they also spit 😬😝

@mytwistedsoul
They sure do! In epic fashion. 🤢
@ShadowFaerie It's so nasty. Like really REALLY nasty 🤢
@mytwistedsoul
A llama took a dislike to my father when I was young and showed it by spitting at him. They have pretty amazing aim too. Don't get on their bad side 😆
@ShadowFaerie It doesn't seem to take much to get on their bad side 😅
@mytwistedsoul
True, true!
