Not only are we learning about food, we are having Geography lessons, learning where on the map these countries are from 😂💚

Hint: It’s in Africa. ;)
And it makes me think of Black Panther. Wakanda. They sound similar hehe <3
@jesusredeemedme2425

I don't think I've ever tried Rwandan food, so I'm really looking forward to hearing about it 😊
Me too!
@ShadowFaerie Me tooo, i don't even know where it located lol 😅😅
Isombe is a traditional Rwandan stew made from mashed cassava leaves and other ingredients such as tomatoes, onions, coriander, garlic, seasoning, and peanut butter. The dish often has a meaty flavor although it contains no meat due to the usage of stock from boiled beef bones.
Isombe is traditionally served with rice or beans on the side.

@jesusredeemedme2425 what's that white thing in 1st pic?? 😮 prawn? rice?
@Ailuraphilelove8tear9 I was more concerned about the green stuff! 😂😂
The green stuff is the isombe :)
@mytwistedsoul lol, idk why it reminds me Macha 😌.
@Ailuraphilelove8tear9 I've never had matcha. It's good? Google says it's like tea? Is it minty or no?
@mytwistedsoul like Pure matcha is generally not minty...... it has a, grassy, earthy, and sometimes slightly bitter or seaweed-like savory taste 💗. matcha is deeply traditional, deeply rooted in centuries-old Japanese culture, specifically as the centerpiece of the Japanese tea ceremony (chanoyu or sadō).
Originating from 8th-century China, it was brought to Japan by Buddhist monks who used it to aid meditation. The production involves shade grown tea leaves (tencha) that are handpicked, steamed, and stone-ground. uhm...!! that's huge, NVM 🤧
@Ailuraphilelove8tear9 That's cool though! Thank you so much for explaining it! 😊 I'll have to see if I can find it here or I might just say the heck with it and order it on Amazon 😅
@mytwistedsoul Aww <3 Full of pleasure 🤗💜 n hey, did u just wrote ur name on the break?? i mean ur pfp? xD
@Ailuraphilelove8tear9 I did! 😁 With ketchup 😂
@mytwistedsoul Well...! 😄 I thought so xD
Just get some at like a boba or tea or coffee shop. I bet even Starbucks might have matcha <3
@jesusredeemedme2425 I might have to check Starbucks. I've never been to one 😅
@mytwistedsoul Then you should add matcha to ur Bugget list 😁✨ as i did the same once 🤧😅
@Ailuraphilelove8tear9 That's a good idea! I like that! 😀 Thank you!
@mytwistedsoul I honestly thought you would find it silly lol. 😂
@Ailuraphilelove8tear9 I have to agree with @jesusredeemedme2425 adding food to a buy list is never silly! And I always app when people share things like this because it helps me get out of my comfort zone ❤️
app = appreciate 😂
I know nothing about this and I've never had it but I would totally try these!
Mandazi – Spiced East African Donuts

Ooh we need deets please hehe
They are light, fluffy, and spiced with warm cardamom and cinnamon. Perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a snack, these fried treats pair wonderfully with tea or coffee. Enjoy them plain or dusted with powdered sugar. Definitely need them with powdered sugar 😁
