What is the best way to lose weight?
@firefly283 put on muscle, diet
There is no easy way just watch what you eat and do some exercise like I ride to school. And send breaks outside getting vitamin d. But it depends on you nothing will happen right away give yourselg time and effort
To start exersise that you love that doesn't feel like working out. Starting to reduce food intake bit by bit and to start switching out un-healthy foods for healthy ones
Hi,
I am a personal trainer and nutrition coach!
The best way to lose weight is exercise and diet.
With exercise we include working out, moving around, walking, do activities and sports. Each one of us is different, with different interests and also with different physical limits, so choose what works best for you and remember to not overdo!
Diet… ah, what a word!
Diet has been know as this extreme cutting, eating-salad-every-day. That’s not it.
Again, we’re all different and the best way to do it is… eating healthy!
Cutting (hey, not eliminating! We’re humans overall… Let’s keep some joys in life :) ) processed food, refined foods, sugary drinks like sodas could really help.
What works for me is going to the gym and walking a lot paired with a diet rich in whole foods. I prefer whole grains to refined ones and it works well for me. It’s not about cutting food but mostly replacing processed with whole foods.
Watching your fiber intake and making sure you get enough helps a lot as well, because fibers make you feel fuller for longer, along with many more benefits.
If you are struggling with losing weight and can’t see a difference even after a lot of effort, it wouldn’t hurt to contact a professional to make sure there’s nothing behind it that makes the goal harder to achieve.
And don’t forget to drink plenty of water!
Glowing Pond gave the best advice here - couldn't have said it better! Follow her advice and what I would add: make sure the REASON you want to lose weight makes sense: be sure you understand your body truly is your temple, and treat it with kindness. That means whatever you do, it must serve you in order that you may be healthy mind, body, spirit.
Yesss!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
My girlfriend and I decided to go wash our dirty laundry in public. So we each got a 1 year membership to the local boxing gym. (I'm kidding about the laundry, we're great.) The cardio-boxing classes are ridiculously hard. We have two 90 min classes a week plus we go 1h on weekends. In the first 3 weeks, I felt a kind of pain I never felt before. Long story short, 6 months later, I lost about 20 pounds while changing absolutely nothing to my diet.
Hello! I want to share how I lost my weight! I started by making my normal size plate and then immediately taking half and feeding it to the dogs before I ate. Turns out my weight gain was a portion control issue! I lost 60 pounds in the first 6 months. Another thing is to avoid sugary beverages. When I start to notice I am gaining my weight back I will cut out sugary drinks and end up losing 10 pounds in just a few weeks. Hope this helps!
I always find it easier when I reallyyy prioritize sleep and make sure I’m getting good, lovely rest. Seriously. It sounds basic maybe but good sleep is so good for a multitude of reasons. I often don’t sleep well so I prioritize it very high and try to allow myself enough time in bed as possible.

Best=healthy. Never resort to skipping meals or cutting out sugar entirely just for that :)
Something interesting I learned about food a bit ago, is HOW to eat food so it's not stored as anything but nutrients.
First, the amount of vegetables in your meal should be equal to the entirety of everything else. So one part vegetables to one part the rest of your meal
I never do that, I do more of like a third of my meal is vegetables and it still works-
Next part: eat your food in a specific order. Vegetables, fruits, proteins, dairy and then dessert. (That's right, dessert is not off the table here)
Why: vegetables are high in fiber. You eat those first, and then follow with the rest of your food (Including dessert!) The sugar isn't going to be stored.
That, and go on a short walk after every big meal, and you'll barely be changing up your day or what you eat and you'll feel healthier and since you're exercising AND not storing as much glucose, weight in turn goes down. Theres research to back this up and I've tried this and it's genuinely worked and hasn't felt unhealthy or rushed at all, I can't remember the author of the specific book at the moment but I'll reply to this with it later
TL;DR eat vegetables first in every meal, dessert last, and exercise gently after meals. (It's a popular thing to do in Europe, it's lovely) and of course normal exercise to keep your body strong:)
Happy healthy feeling good :)
