English: Hi

Spanish: Hola

Norwegian: Hallo/Hei

Russian: Privet

It's cool how so many languages are spoken, but they all mean the same thing. Just spoken differently.

@El2002snow  @sunisshiningandsoareyou   (me laughing)  It *is* cool how we mean the same thing, but just pronounce the words differently :)  haha.

English /French /Spanish:

Hello, Hi    /Bonjour,  Salut    /Buenas dias, Hola!

Yes!    /Oui!     /Si!

one, two, three     /un, deux, trois     /uno, dos, tres

Love      /L'amour     /Amor  (these could be debated as "love" in English can mean so many different things, which then could be translated in different ways)

Dog, cat     /Un chien, un chat      /El perro, el gato

One of my least favorite questions in English:

How are you?    /Comment ca va?     /Como estas?

but one of the questions the professors always seem to teach you, with varying ways to answer, in ANY second language class!

English:  "I'm fine."    French:  "Bien, merci."    Spanish: "Bien, y usted?"

What else shall we add to our multilingual dictionary?  This could be great fun!  <3 Platy

Note:  I do not have (or do not know that I have) any way of entering the accents in these words and phrases.  Please know that I do know they are supposed to be there!  If anyone would like to correct this by adding the required accents, that is fully okay by me :)  Platy (unofficial "Grammar Nazi," a occupational hazard I'm afraid)
