Ontario
I just stumbled across this forum. A great idea, eh?!
I see that some have already set up sections for different areas, so thought I would for Ontario (I used to live in BC and love that pretty awesomely but well here in Ontario now).
Maybe people are interested in posting like on events they think people might be interested in, organizations suited to helping in this area, or just things people really like.
Does anyone have ideas on good safe ways to meet people online if you are new to an area, or just in general?
Anyway, this is a tiny start.

Woah, tons of people moving to Ontario! It definitely is a wonderful place and there are so many things to do and see. It all depends on what you are interested in. How about we make a tally of peoples' interests and work from there?
Born and raised in Ontario myself, but I love to travel all over, try new things (whether it be food, drinks, sports, activities, music, etc). I'm uber excited about this group!

Oh man, I recently visited Point Pelee Park, the Southern most tip of Ontario; this place is absolutely amazing! There's a massive beach and just water surrounding you. You can either shuttle fairly close to the tip or hike, totally up to you. While there, we also got to kayak in this swamp-like area. I'm a huge fan of nature, so this was definitely one of my favourite spots. I do hope to visit Tobermory and Algonquin Park one day though and hopefully soon.
What about yourself? Any spots you recommend?

Torontonian here. I'm not too sure/familiar with anything specific, but you can always meet in a public place like a Timmies or Indigo/Chapters. And if you like a bit of the downtown scene more, there is:
Infuse Cafe, Wanda's Belgian Waffles (right across the street from the cafe) - Both these places are down the street from the Eaton Centre.
I hope that those who are willing and/or wanting to meet up have the chance to work something out and enjoy themselves safely. :)
