Appreciating colours
So I‘m an artist and I just love colours
Like it just makes me so genuinely happy to look at them
I mean, give me a good blue, not too oversaturated, maybe with a little grey in it? A wine red, beautifully shaded? A light green with a little yellow nuance? A dark forest green? A warm orange or a light yellow? A blue, so light it is almost white? Instant Serotonin.
I will literally be excited like a little kid to see colours come together and it makes me so happy to look around and just see colours, all colours, and them coming together, and I am even more happy to hear them in the music I listen to. It just makes me so happy to be able to see these colours on earth and in space, and dang, without art, my life would be a LOT more boring.
So yeah, that‘s my colour appreciation post.
Anyone else know what I mean?

Colours really are beautiful, sometimes I just like to paint solid blocks of colour for no other reason but to appreciate them. And something that I will never get tired of looking at, is sunset colours - those bright pinks, pastel lilacs and soft blues, hints of green among the lemony yellows...
@Lou73 Sunset colors consistently take my breath away. It is truly my favorite time of the day.
ik what you mean. Sunsets are so stunning, I love how just our lil atmosphere and some light create these colours of heaven.
@alicethefrog Hi there. I realized that I used to incorporate color more regularly so this week, when I made my schedule/to do list, I added color pencil drawings and just blobs of color on the pages. It make it so much more enjoyable to be adulting! :-)
