So, I was wondering why I still haven't received my E-Certificate yet, so I went back on the site to look for more information about it. It turns out, there's another part that I must complete, aside from the main program I finished. So, I've had to make another extension payment to finish this second part. I've only extended for 15 days, so, I'll be busy working on it until end of August. Until then, I won't get that E-Certificate; and here I was hoping I'd receive it this week, so I could officially start applying for jobs. Although I've already started writing a Cover Letter and updating my Resume, it'd be better if I had the E-Certificate too.
Going to be dad's 70th birthday on Monday! We're having a family dinner (along with relatives) on Sunday, then Dad will celebrate his birthday with his friends.. This is quite different than our original family traditions when it comes to Birthdays, I feel kind of disappointed that at his 70th birthday, we aren't able to keep that tradition. I feel that traditions should be followed on an important birthday as this. Make it big, and still do our usual things.
Our original tradition, consists of gifts, a cake, and family dinner on the day. Now, not only do we not have a family dinner (just the four of us), Dad doesn't even want a cake that we, as a family can celebrate with, and on the day of his Birthday (Monday), brother, who usually works at home, will have to end up going into the office, parents will go out for dinner with friends, then, they'd come to our place for games, then out again for dinner (I'm not included in any of the activities that day), and I'd probably end up staying in my computer room all afternoon studying with the door closed, music playing in my headphones, because his friends would be noisy playing games, and I'd only see them if I leave my room for water or something. Or, I could have bottles of water filled in my room, so I don't need to even leave it. Their games might tempt me, and to know I won't be included, makes me even sadder. Dad might have that memorable 70th birthday, but I'm totally saddened that as a family, we're not really a part of it. He says that the dinner with relatives on Sunday is enough "family" time. How can he compare his kids to his brother and sister, whom he's not that close with anyways..
I've bought a birthday card for him, my mum and I will share the payment for an AppleWatch that he's been wanting, and brother is paying for the family dinner on Sunday. That's about as much as we as a family celebrate his big 7-0 birthday. Mum and I will also get some balloons tomorrow, she wants to decorate the house, so their friends have like a photo corner with him.
The more I think about this, the more disappointed and saddened I feel~
I am so sorry that the celebration will look so different than you want it to. But try focusing as much as you can on moments where he appears happy. You won't always have those to view in person. Maybe you could ask for a special dad daughter lunch a few days later. @Jaeteuk
So, I just found out they had a change of plans for Monday. They will be eating at home for dinner, making it into a potluck (that I'm not included). I was thinking they were to go out for dinner, that way, I can make my own dinner at home.. Now, I won't be able to make my dinner at home.. This situation has just became more depressing~

Me, I'm doing just fine. Just recently got a lot in mind that i couldn't shut my brain off for once. It's ok though, it's just a usual things for me so yeah. Don't worry i could get a hold of it and myself :)

I usually talks to my friends sometimes spending my times in here bring me lots of joy. Also playing with my ctas is super effective to get a free happiness hehe. There are many things that I used to love and used to do that usually brings me lots of joy but recently i just don't do it despite of time and routines in my life and currently can't think a lot of it :(
3) If you can be an animal for a day, which animal would you like to be?
I want to be my cats like they have been lazy and playful and clingy these days. I hope i could sleep so peacefully and for many hours like them hehe XD

I am so sorry that I am behind on my responses. Hopefully I can get caught up tomorrow. I am actually pretty exhausted and strung out, but I am muddling through.
We lost our cat to kidney disease back in March. It was a brutal end with months of daily IVs. So I spend the rest of spring and early summer dreaming of getting two new cats and having a cat family. Unluckily it hasn't gone according to plan. We got an adult cat who is only sort of friendly in July and then a kitten a week later. Two weeks after that the kitten broke her paw. So I have spent the last month trying to keep her from any jumping or running. I have about the same rate of success as I would asking a fish to fly.

Hey there,
1) Now I'm doing fine. I'm handeling good I think. Ups and downs like usual, last week was rough and not good, I was very low and hopeless, but now it's fine. I'm learning to take care of myself while I'm not good (like sleep schedule, eating schedule... I feel like a toddler doing that but it actually helps, so...) And now, I'm enjoying the fine phase while it lasts.
2) I already did it, I was in the botanical garden just by myself and it was really soothing for me.
3) I would be a llama, I could spit on or kick those I don't like and just walk away, haha.

Truth is that at the start, this week was very wild and overwhelming (mainly my work was very intense and I felt like everything is falling apart because of me.) But then, there were some good moments too, like we were at the cinema after almost two years (before, it was depression + pandemic restrictions combined, so it wasn't possible). I was basically in tears just because the simple fact i l've made it there, it was nice... So, I'm not that much of hopeless this week, thankfully💚
2) What could you do today so that you could bring happiness and joy for yourself? I like music, coloring, and baking. I also wish I could have a better living space . . . to be able to cook, take a bath and have a cat. I have issues with my current place. However I try to find happiness in the small things.
3) If you can be an animal for a day, which animal would you like to be? A cat.

1. Well, a lot is going on lately. I've got an old friend moving in with me for a while... And maybe someone else too. I feel like I'm a lot more on top of things lately in general too.
2. Today is a good day to get more gaming in. Some exercise too. Possibly some time with friends. I also need to look over my old comic I found.
3. I'm stuck between a cat or a bird. They both have different capabilities for exploration that I'd like to take advantage of.

1) How are you doing? We would love to know more about how you are doing.
I'm not doing as well as I was a day ago. My sister sent me some groceries over the weekend, and that was great because my local food bank has been closed for over a month. I'm hoping they'll be open tomorrow, so keep your fingers crossed. Today I finally got a reply to an email I sent my DOR counselor that basically said they aren't going to help me get a new laptop because I don't have a job yet, that my new job should provide it for me, and if it doesn't then they'd help me but only if I provided written proof and fill out a form.
So I cried a little from the frustration but wrote as polite a reply as I could. I thanked the counselor for the explanation, then reiterated how I'm choosing to work remotely due to coronavirus, and also mentioned that I'm trying to apply as much as I can between caring for myself and providing support for my mother who has COPD.
2) What could you do today so that you could bring happiness and joy for yourself?
Let go of what is bothering me or worrying me. There isn't much I can do to change it so I just have to continue going forwards. I don't think it will bring me happiness or joy, but it's better than feeling sorry for myself or dwelling on being sad.
3) If you can be an animal for a day, which animal would you like to be?
I'd like to be a well loved cat in a good home with people who can take care of me and themselves. Besides, I already catnap on my futon when the sunshine is spilling through my window.
@integrityblues You're a strong one *hugs if accepted* the fact that you try to be polite for the rejection you got really got my heart melts because of the compassion. Your mom will be proud of you and so am I. Letting go of worries is a powerful one and I'm rooting for you. Not everyone is capable of doing it even if it's to me. Hi, its nice to hear from you.
The food bank was open on Tuesday. So that was good, even though I got into a huge arguement with a homeless person trying to cut in line on Thursday.
The good news from my Wednesday doctor's appointment is that my blood test results say I'm not prediabetic. My cholestoral is a little high, but I've known that for awhile and can address it by cutting red meat from my diet and exercising more. And then the big news: my microcyctic anemia is being caused by an inherited blood disorder called beta-thalassemia. So my body has to make a large amount of blood cells instead of what's considered normal just to make up the difference since my blood cells are so small.

Doing okay. Quite stressed but a little better than last week. I know what animal I would not be at the moment - a cat. We got two cats, one a kitten, to bring joy and warmth to the house this summer. It has been a bit of a "catastrophe" when the kitten broke her paw two weeks after arrival. She is now in a cast for two months. Keeping her from moving takes up all my time and energy. @greenYard2803
