It is with pleasure that I share the last check-in before Christmas with you. Take a deep breath okay? I was feeling overwhelmed today, and I needed to remind myself to breathe. So now, I'm reminding you too :)
We probably feel different emotions at the time, and understanding that you have a right to feel a certain way is important. Just because everyone feels happy or cheerful, doesn't mean that you are obligated to feel so as well.

1. How do you feel? OK, I guess.
2. During this period, what is something you usually do? Alternatively, what is something you want to do during this period? All the usual Christmas stuff, set up a tree, buy presents for those we love. There is nothing that I want to do that I don't get to do.
3. Do you find the check-ins helpful? Yes I do.
If yes, how? If no, why? When there is a check in, I always copy the questions and answer them. It helps me to get myself together.

2. During this period, what is something you usually do? Alternatively, what is something you want to do during this period? i normally sleep and just watch tv but since exams are near i am studying surprisingly
3. Do you find the check-ins helpful? i find it quite helpful cause like i can see what my progress is whether i am happy or not , and what can i do to achieve it

This is my first one ever. I really don't find any joy in anything anymore. I feel invisible everyday. Not sure what else to say.

I'm trying to accept that this is the happiest I'll ever be and my life will only continue to get worse. I'm trying to just give up completely and let go of everything. It's so much harder than it needs to be. I'm so fucking lonely. I want somebody to love me but it isn't possible and I need to just accept that it will never happen for me and be happy with the shitty life I've created for myself.
There is no need for you to give up. Your mental illness contineus to lie to you and say that things are as good as they can get. That isn't true. I believe in you. You can find a path out. Start small and just keep at it. Don't think long term. Focus on what you are doing in each moment. @tluper6491

@bestVase7265 Thank you. I think is because I have never thought of myself as a real person and doing real people things makes it worse.
I am sorry that so many people in your life have made you feel as though you weren't a real person. That is a really hard voice in your head to get rid of. The real life stuff is scary for all of us. I am not sure that really makes things better for you, but know that even those people who look like they have it together don't have any greater claim to being real than you do. @Flornhope

@bestVase7265 I know I will always be different and not very many people will like me. As I get older it matters less and less
1. I am not feeling my best today (Christmas day). I don't know why, but I just felt depressed this morning.
2. I usually hang out with my family all day, but most of my family was unable to get together for obvious reasons. It just doesn't feel right. Not only that, but I'm usually enjoying the holidays with my significant other, but I have been single for the past few years so that's adding to my feeling of lonliness.
3. Love the checkins. It's nice to write down how I feel because I forget.
You are allowed to feel down and alone on a Christmas that is lacking so much. Give yourself space to grieve and then try to move forward. @diplomaticWest1394

Today overall I am fine. The biggest challenge is figuring out how to give our cat a daily IV of fluids. It is causing me lots of anxiety that I cannot have around her as I stick her with a needle. @Goldcherry2113

I'm tired and sad. Christmas was very awful with a lot of family drama. I'm questioning if I even want to spend time with my family anymore.
