Well I have a lot on my plate . I need to get mentally stronger . Cannot afford to whine and sulk all the time .

2. What are your plans for this week? I have a couple of doctor's visits.
3. What have you recently done for self care? Really nothing. Why should I take care of myself? I am old, retired, widowed, and barely welcome in places.
Why do you feel barely welcomed in some places? Tell us more about what is going on at the moment. You have found a way forward before. I know that you can again. @Offmytrack

1. I’m doing alright, been very anxious and emotional and self doubtful lately. I’ve been feeling like a bother to everyone and i don’t know what to do. I’ve been limiting myself on what I eat more and more cause I’m trying to lose weight but each day it feels like I’m almost starving myself 2. Get through school, it’s the first week back so it’ll be a bit harder than usual. 3. I slept in today but I don’t know if it was the best idea. I knew I needed the extra rest but I got yelled at over the phone by my parents for sleeping in. Thanks for the check in, have a great day!
It sounds like caring for yourself right now is hard. However, you are focused on the two most imporatant things - eating and sleeping. Work on keeping those in balance.@Rainbowphrog

Check in Questions:
1. I'm doing well today I've been much more active lately and it makes me feel good.
2. As I mentioned, I've been increasingly active lately by taking more walks because of the nice weather, gardening, trying some new recipes, and going to start some embroidery and other crafting projects to see if I like it since crafting brings me comfort.
3. Taking time each night to unwind, watch a show that I enjoy and find comforting, having a glass of wine or honeydew green tea and putting on a face mask before going to bed. This week has been good so far. Another thing I find comforting is taking care of my indoor plants (orchids and some others) and spending time with my pets.
I'd like to add that something I am trying to incorporate in my routine is being more mindful in the present and asking myself what I'm grateful for each day so I can have other things to focus on when life is more challenging or hard. It doesn't solve all the problems that can come about but it helps my focus to be more intentional and brings me some inner peace.
It is really nice to be able to get out, isn't it? It definitely helps the healing process. And I had forgotten about my face masks. I should start doing that one again.@WynterRose
1. I am not doing great at all. Had another huge fight with the my wife tonight. I have had issues with her going to the bar right after work and coming home after a few hours drunk. As soon as she said that she was stopping by the Barbi am made the assumption that she would be coming home drunk again. And I made a comment about it. Told her that she always says she would be right home but comes home a few hours before. She said that she would be right home not after a few hours. Well a few hours later her she texts saying she is coming home. Had a big fight about it. I am sleeping on the couch to give each other space. 2. My plans originally was to invest some time into my hobby of photography but let's see where this fight goes. 3. I started trying to do things that make me happy.
So sorry for the fight with your wife. It can be really hard to figure out a path forward when you get hurt like that. Giving one another space sounds like a good idea. Sending peace.@politeSail5130
Finally got all the information regarding my two final exams. For one, I've just emailed my Prof to clarify some points he listed out in regards to the outline of the exam. It's good that he hasn't set a specific time to complete it. As long as we finish it before 10pm, and once we start the exam, we only get 2 hours to complete it. With the other course, the last unit will cover a third of the exam. I'm a bit iffy about the last unit, as it doesn't seem like there are a lot of information about it. So, I have a few websites opened, just in case and links given. I hope I'll do well in them!~

I can’t seem to keep friends when I talk about my depresstion or they are way to busy for them to hangout with me. My depresstion is so much that I can’t really make friends anymore or sleep well
My previous friends I've had, whenever I reveal to them about my depression, they turn away, and give up on our friendship altogether. I think this is another reason why I'm afraid to trust someone entirely and become friends. Also why I'm friendless now, always afraid that the other person will choose to abandon me once they find out the truth I've been hiding~

It is also hard to make friends right now because of COVID. I know that I often imagine friends don't want to deal with my depression anymore, but often that is far from the truth. People do want to help. You just have to be willing to reach out. @calmDime9908
