So every two months I get depressed and demotivated for about two weeks at a time, does anyone know what this could be?

When I suffered from depressive episodes, I used to suffer them in two to three month cycles. Is that similar to what you experience?

@Roadie sort of, the depression only lasts a few weeks though

@HeatherMillie

It's different for everyone. Do you know what triggers you to your depressive episodes?

@Roadie it's usually whenever I change my routine which is more often then I would like it to be. I feel like I've been handling it much better recently though, I'm getting stronger.

@HeatherMillie

Depression doesn't always have to be a continuous thing. It sounds like you just have frequent depressive episodes. Are the breaks between episodes pretty regular?

Depression isn't a sign of weakness. It means you have been strong for far too long :)

I am going through same thing as you but the cause is piled up frustration and emotions I get depression episodes once in a while with a gap of 1,2 months and it lasts for a week at maximum but it's horrible, I get serious headaches and my chest feels like my ribs are breaking in half. I feel lonely like no one really understand me and I am a bother to everyone around me and it would be better if I am dead. though I try to not let my depression effect my relations but sometimes I have emotional outbursts out of blue and they in result lead to more depression thinking that I am horrible. I don't know if it's depression or not but I wish someone could tell me what to do

@Anie996

i totally get what you mean. I too have been having these feelings and experiencing these outbursts. It's a vicious cycle that feeds on your anger, sadness, and loneliness. I don't know what to do either but if you'd like to talk I can listen to what you have to say. Maybe I can help in any way.

Hope you feel better

For me it's usually at night, or when I'm alone. Sometimes 5/7 days of the week, sometimes more, sometimes less. It's not as often that the whole day I feel down, but that does happen sometimes. I still don't know where it comes from, because my life is honestly pretty good.
